Is Board Admin moderating or not?

I put this here since it applies to Policy.

Twice now on March 8 and March 13 I have replied to posts by new providers on the Newbie Board (aka FAQ's for Newbies). They had placed their contact info in the initial post. One placed a link the other placed her phone number in the body of her post. I responded on both occasions with an answer to their question and informed them that placing their contact info in their post was not allowed by TER Message Board Posting Guidelines.  I suggested to the first provider that she simply edit her post and remove her link. I said to the other since her post had posted admin must have let it go but anything could happen. In each case shortly after my reply the posts were pulled and my note from admin in My Message Boards says it was due to the "removal of the thread".

These were newbies. All newbies are moderated. Why were these post allowed in the first place?
Board admin could have edited them before posting.

It's possible the providers requested they be pulled but my question above still applies.

when it comes to checking posts for violations of posting rules.  Especially with newbies.  I seriously doubt that the newbie providers asked that the threads be pulled.  Someone may have reported the posts as being in violation of the rules and admin then pulled the threads.  I think that is the most likely reason for the pulling of the threads.  I didn't do it, but I have done it in the past.
