I don't think they have to

It's just marketing....hobbyists outnumber providers by a huge margin. The more providers you have on your site the more guys will sign up.
If P411 doesn't charge ladies why should TER?. Do you think p411 have to give membership away?

TER is non existent in many hobby areas in the country, this is a small reason.
One other reason is 1980s look and functionality of the site (seriously why are they charging so much?)

It is my opinion that without providers this forum would not exist.
Yet providers must pay for VIP membership
Guys get free VIP for submitting reviews
Could you give us ladies a break?
I have been a member of ter since 2004 and I have never received a discount for VIP
is there a game we can play a contest we can enter perhaps after 50 reviews we get a month free how about for 20 8s and 9s we get a discount perhaps a discount code for 20% off a year
I need VIP for screening purposes as do most ladies who have it
Please ter give us a VIP discount and not just the one for buying more VIP at onc

Of course, if we played fair and the providers reviewed the hobbyists, I wonder what kind of scores I would get?

Perhaps it is best that I don't know ;-)

Anyway - give the ladies a (financial) break.

Some of you women make tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars due to TER, it could be argued that you should be charged even more than the guys.

I have been a member of TER since 2004 as well, and except for the time I spent as moderator, I have paid for every other minute of VIP I have ever received, and do you really want to do the math about my "free" VIP while a moderator? I agreed to spend at least 100 hrs a month in order to get my $20 free VIP. Cry me a river. lol

Free limited VIP forever, (Or until they get delisted). Yes I realize that it is not the same as full VIP, but it is still something and hobbyists get nothing similar. If you want full VIP, that's just part of your cost of doing business, along with ads, websites, photo shoots, condoms, lube, lingerie, transportation, incall rent, etc.

TER does run contests from time to time offering free VIP on the sports board, and on special occasions. These are not limited to hobbyists. Also providers can get 2 free days for submitting problem reports (including on their own profiles), just like any other member can.

Now I'm not opposed to contests and discounts for providers, and I can 't fault you for liking and wanting discounts. I'm just saying that paying for it is not so bad, and it seems like a pretty small expense as a business expense. However, I think tying free or discount VIP to high scores just opens up more review score manipulation.

By the way,  if you have been a member since 2004, then you are getting a discount. Try signing up as a brand new member and check the VIP rate compared to what you are paying. Old timers are actually grandfathered at a lower rate. :)

It is a business.

...but TER regularly runs specials (i mean, I got a free month for buying 3 months of VIP), and submitting error reports does get you free days.

I'll admit that its not the same amount of benefit as writing reviews and getting access for those reviews, but it's something.  Not to mention what others have said, in stating that we can at least send and receive PMs for free.

but I'd also point out that a hobbyist must review two different gals that he has not reviewed before, every month, in order to retain "free" VIP. That's 24 new and different women every year; at $$$/hr that's $600/month on just the new gals. A guy who sees an ATF or two exclusively is SOL in terms of getting free VIP for reviews, because repeat/re-reviews don't qualify for VIP.

VIP for reviews is hardly free in terms of both dollars and choosing who we might want to spend time with.

A large number of folks with lots of free VIP time banked have done so through problem reports moreso than through reviews. Others simply pay, while others may drift in and out of VIP as they review here and there.

im honestly not complaining about paying for VIP in the least. It bothers me none. I don't think discounts are necessary (they're nice in the case of getting a month for free for buying 3) and its just an expense that I choose to pay because I find it helpful.

Honestly, if someone is happy to pay full price for something, why offer it for free? Lots of guys pay and don't ever review, therefore never receiving that benefit.

Some dudes are totally truthful in the way they go about handling and submitting reviews, but there are quite a few who submit completely false reviews in order to get the free VIP. Is it really dumb? Of course. But so is the fact that if a review is completely false and constructed in order to glean the benefits of VIP, there's no recourse for them to be removed. TER requires documentation, and how do you submit documentation of communication from someone you've never communicated with?

I don't know how frequently it happens, but when it does, it's tough. Kudos to those who submit honest and truthful reviews  and happen to benefit from the free VIP, but it seems that giving something away for free to those who would pay for it seems silly.

Since guys get 15 days (I think it is 15) of VIP for submitting a review, the lady could get the same number of day for being reviewed.

Thank You
2015 = 28

...makes great business sense.  You sure are generous with other people's money.

That is no problem, he is free to do so.

As for saying it better than you did....who could not?

You're Welcome

not because they are so generous.

Ask yourself a question, who are the biggest financial beneficiaries of TER other than TER itself? The providers of course, many of these women have 6 digit incomes due in a large part to the free publicity that they get from TER. The better question is "Why shouldn't they pay?"

TER is a "for profit" business, I get a benefit out of being a member here and I don't mind paying for it, The providers here get a thousand times more benefit from this site than I do, why should I subsidize their membership above and beyond the thousands of dollars I already spend on hookers.

It's just marketing....hobbyists outnumber providers by a huge margin. The more providers you have on your site the more guys will sign up.

They are paying for the review database which I am sure is by far the largest in existence.

and P 411 makes a tidy penny off the ladies, don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise

P 411 makes a tidy penny off the ladies, don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise."

Yes, recently there were some providers complaining about that very thing on one of the boards

I won't say that I use P 411 exclusively for booking ladies in the US, but it's well over 90%.  Women might bitch about the cost, but they would be fools to drop P 411 when it drives as much business as it does.

The same can be said about TER, no one is FORCED to sign up here, but hookers and johns alike would be very foolish to go without in any of the cities dominated by TER, and even in non TER dominated areas. I live in Dallas Texas which is dominated by another review site, but I wouldn't dream of letting my VIP expire, if it saves me even one bad date a year it more than pays for itself. As for the hookers, getting even one date a year from TER also more than pays for their membership here, I find it quite amusing to see several of them whine about having to pay. At least the OP admitted she just like discounts. I wonder if TER finds negotiating "disrespectful" just like the hookers who are all trying to get TER to lower their rates??? lol

Damn..you live in Dallas and you are using TER? Now that's commitment
The only reason I am using it is coz I moved from the Midwest to the south, TER is the only thing here

Do providers have to pay P411 to send messages and have basic features  ?
Because that's what we are talking about here

which includes their basic profile, ability to see our profiles, use PMs, and give okays.
They have to pay for visiting ads, feature ads, top ten listings, animated GIFs, and other special features, that mive them to the top of he page, or bring more attention to their profiles. Now I may be wrong, since obviously I don't have a provider profile there. Maybe a provider can chime in, or Gina herself, who does read these boards and occasionally posts on TER.

Edit:
This is straight from the p411 website:
"Independent Escort, Assistant & Agency accounts are always free to legimate members of the escort community."

This is also straight from their website:
"All provider ads are totally free. We only charge for upgraded advertising, with the price in a city determined by demand."

So you get value from having VIP in your verification process, adding to the value to you.  Why then should you not pay for it?

There should be a reward for being a high performing provider.  Especially for someone who needs access to TER in order to do their job thoroughly.  I see where you coming from because the membership is the concomitant of a businessman belonging to a chamber of commerce. It give you access to like minded individuals who share a pool of clients.  Also your argument becomes stronger for a discount because now you can't write off the expense of being a VIP member as a business expense.  Thus being an active provider with the investigative tools that TER provides is essential in your day to day affairs.  Now the question is can you get that same discount with all of the verifications services you would have.

his VIP days to you. Just sayin'. :)

Especially since they're trying to do the whole verification thing now...

-( a hugely successful/reviewed provider)

'Providers' make profit on their utilization of TER as any commercial business makes profit from an advertising media. Just as escort malls charge a premium for ad placement, thumbnail slide shows etc TER asks that the extra business tools and screening benefits provided in a VIP membership be compensated.

The 'hobbyists' provide reviews as well as Problem reports in exchange for a finite amount of VIP credit. Their voluntary contribution of their time earns them no money; but serves to build and strengthen the very advertising and screening source that you have VERY successfully profited on since 2004.
