Despte the inferiority complex I get from a guy named "Coffee Can", I second hist motion. CL links are more or less useless, and the only ones I've ever seen are those silly AMPs.

TER only links to "legitimate" or "trusted" sites. CL has no screening whatsoever, so I do not think it qualifies.

I have a serious problem with craigslist providers & TER. Please read the following msg I sent TER staff for consideration. I think this could be a good weekly vote subject?

I think provider reviews using craigslist.org as their "internet vehicle" should be deemed unacceptable as a source for reviews on TER. The time frame available to access past craigslist posts is  approx 10 days max; much too short amount of time to be able to access photos of the provider in question.  One of the primary criteria to post on TER is the provider "maintaining" an internet presence. Craigslist free posts are usually scams and severely penalize providers paying to legitimately even if illegally; present themselves on the internet.
NO TO craigslist POSTS!!
Respectfully,
CC

I can second that. CL has been utterly useless for me. I've found that the vast majority of postings for NYC in Casual Encounters seem to be absolute bogus!

Stay away from Cl. Most important is that anyone can post on the site without any verification as TER has. All post on TER are reviewed unlike CL. With any boards, I believe that there has to be some sort of regulatory checks and balances in place.
Most, of the ads, listed on CL, would never make it on TER.

With all due respect, TER's reviews are littered with shilled reviews. Especially the AMP's.
CL, much like TER requires a keen understanding of how best to use it. Once you get it down, it offers a distinct difference. I've been fortunate to meet 6-7 "girl next door" types - Girls who are only doing this out of curiosity, financial distress, or the quest for heightened levels of excitement...on a whim. They however, would not commit themselves to an agency or go through the trouble of establishing Indy promotion.
Talk about GFE.
But....buyer beware-it took a long time to  be able to identify bogus posts. I still get deceived every once and a while. Remember two cliché’s that truly apply:
The higher the risk the greater chance of return.
If it looks to good to be true-it is.

I write a detailed review about a provider including all the services offered and it was not approved. The reason given to me was it wasn't detailed enough, if anyone reads my reviews they see that it's got all the info. But when I do provider searches I see a ton of two liners with no usefull information at all being presented that were approved. Not to mention now you have to weed though a vast amount of bogus reviews before finding  accurate ones. I think the part of or all of the review process needs to be improved.
