I'm probably a stick in the mud, but I never could understand how media finds these things funny when the humor only comes at the expense of another person. Maybe ole Greg deserved what he got, but Kim didn't and "The Edge" only cared about the ratings points regardless.
to have the girl go on getting screwed and SCREWED weekend in and weekend out. In the end, I'll bet she's thanking the radio station for not letting it go any further.
I acknowledge that Kim was better off as a result, but the radio station didn't do it for her benefit. They did it for humor at her expense. You want to give them an award, then let them stage these things unheard, behind the scenes for purely humanitarian reasons.

I didn't say it was right or funny. But in the end a young woman that could have gone on for who knows how long believing in this man was finally made aware that she was grossly being taken advantage of. I'm not condoning the manner in which she was subjected to finding out. But given the choice of this or NOT finding out I can imagine she herself would not have chosen the latter. Would she have found out sooner or later? Maybe. Maybe an empty bank account or a pregnancy later...
I remember this clip from a few years ago. Just as entertaining now as it was then.
And in this day and age any grown adult should not be surprised in the least that media outlets are 100% about the ratings. Right vs. wrong and ethics went out the window with the media many many years ago.
I'm not saying it's right that media will sell out anyone for ratings but it's a stone cold fact and not a secret to anyone!
