ISO posts on Regional boards and not just move them to the ISO boards? Too many cheap ass MF non-VIP posting ISO on all of the Review boards. Why keep paying VIP if all we have to do is post ISO on all of the Regional boards.

After all, the person doing the searching wants someone local (usually), and why clutter up a board with requests that are not germane to the area of the people looking at the board?

Initially TER did move almost all ISO posts to the ISO Board, but now they don't seem to do so.

VIP allows you to read reviews mostly, and use the PM system.  It has nothing to do with posting on the boards.  Stop buying it if you have no interest in those two features.

to just use the ISO board. As it is enough people forget to say where they are located or wish to find the service, spawning the inevitable question/reply.

Tho' you have a point. Most things can be found with a little effort through search engines, even by us cheap ass etc...

That all ISO posts should be on the ISO board. If that is not done then the ISO board should be eliminated. It is the inconsistency that is the real issue here.
If the choice were mine, I would keep the ISO board and move all of the ISO posts from the regional boards. I have seen as many as 6 consecutive ISO posts on one board in a single day pushing more pertinent posts to the second pages. For that reason I disagree with eliminating the ISO board, but using it for its intended purpose.

the Regional Boards.

The regional boards are where hobbyists and providers from a specific area meet and talk. ISO's are specific to an area in nearly every instance.

Local hobbyists and providers can help those with ISO's find what they are looking for, which does not seem to happen so much on the national ISO board. Local knowledge helps both hobbyists and providers.

A lot of ISO's are from Alias' and no-review (risky) posters. Local guys and gals have an incentive to call out some of these posts for mutual safety and protection from LE and people with something to hide, or offer advice on how to post an ISO in a better and less suspicious way. Less such incentive on a national board, IMO.

The national ISO board is just another board to search and sift through; local boards are more relevant for everyone and don't require changing boards and looking at 10x more irrelevant posts for every individual. Local boards are relevant, whether for conversational topics or ISO's.

The national ISO board is not locally relevant, fails to collect most ISO's and is less useful and safe than local boards. Many local boards would have few or no posts without ISO's - and some are otherwise dead anyway. It's not like ISO's clutter an otherwise dead board.

I say kill the national ISO board and put locally-oriented posts (including ISO's) on the local boards. Simplify this site, make it more effective/efficient for the needs it serves and the users, and increase utilization of the local boardss

be for reviews, discussions on local topics, advice from locals etc...but it has turned into 90% ISO boards from mostly cheap ass non-VIPs looking for free recommendations. WTF! TER doing nothing about moving these ISO posts to the ISO boards, so why have an ISO board! Why not create a sub ISO board in each Regional Board, so we don't have to see ISO posts on the main regional board! Is that too fucking hard to do?
