I've often wondered how popular the concept of "free love" would be in this community of ladies who make their living by keeping it expensive (he says with a smile).

Is anyone else watching this series on CNN? Pretty spectacular documentary.

Brings back so many memories. At the time, it seemed like something momentous and world-changing was happening almost every week. No one knew how things were going to work out. Usually scary - often tragic - but always exhilarating!

Reminds me again of why I've always felt fortunate to have grown up in Middle America in the 1960s. It had to be the absolute best time and place to have come of age in the history of mankind.

Yep ... Only 5% of the worlds population is born in the US and an even smaller number in the 'happy days' Midwest.  Its truly winning the lottery to have been born here.  And then to become a 'hobbyist' in later years ... how much better does it get ?
