This is a serious question, I'd really like to hear your definitions of both what constitutes a troll, and what is the "real" purpose of TER?
All I see is bitchin bitchin bitchin about girls the bitcher isn't even going to see, pointless arguments and barely hobby related threads, and it's so old that even Admin is toying with a few of them now. Can we just get rid of them so normal people don't have to scroll through pages of crap to find something worth reading?

I know in the past, things have been left up so that people can see it and DNS someone, but this is different. These aren't reviewers and they aren't going to be giving their troll account out for screening. I don't see what benefit they could have for TER, unless it's looking to drive people away.
TER has the option to delete threads and posts if the topics are unrelated to this game.
They even put the RAP button for you to use to highlight that thread/post.
All boards have trolls. Some are entertaining, others are annoying.
It's like playing whack-a-troll...another one will pop up shortly.
A bigger problem are posters speaking in a language that only Nell can understand.

However, I don't think "getting rid" of anyone is the answer to the problem though. At least I don't want to get rid of anybody. Its a big pool here and plenty of room to swim with all the different personality types.
I think it all depends on your attitude. If you take it too seriously, yeah, I guess it can be a drag.
But if you have fun with it, its a whoot.
And TER did give you the IGNORE button if you must.
Me, you might ask? Don't need it. If its someone I think is a troll, I just skip their post.

If you really want to prove you're worth a thoughtful response, you have a lot to make up for. Second, I maintain that trolls don't add anything positive to the board. Of course a troll says trolling can be fun and interactive. What about the rest of the people who are using the board for what it was meant to be? I appreciate that it would be *slightly* more work for Admin to ban someone, but would it not be made up in the long run by not having to constantly lock posts because of the same people?
