danny ferry, bobby hurley, christian laetnner, . grant hill was great but got hurt.
Carlos Boozer was on the Olympic Team and has been an NBA
All Star. Elton Brand and Christian Laettner also made the All Star team.
Laettner was also an NBA starter well into his 30s; Brand was considered a franchise player until his injury. Grant Hill made the NBA all star as a rookie and still starts for Phoenix at age 37 or 38.
Chris Duhon stared for the Knicks to past two years. Jayson Williams started for the Bulls until his injury. Mike Dunleavy and Shane Battier has been starters for most of their careers. Mike Giminski had a 40 point 30 rebound game in the NBA.
JJ Redick is starting to come along and is putting pressure on Vince Carter for the starters job. Hurley did not have an NBA body and was a bad draft choice.
The list goes on....

win basketball games for Duke. Teams in the NBA have coaches who take college players and refine their skills to adapt to the NBA game. You have had many, many great college players who were mediocre in the pros. The fact that Duke has had so many even go to the pros speaks for itself.
