Crofton and Odenton are nice areas.  Close to BWI (But not too close), easy to get to Columbia, Balt and DC.   A two bedroom condo will cost about ~$1500.   A small town house ~$1800.   A three story townhouse with Garage ~$2200.

ok, so i know there is city-data, but i have already looked there and they can be pretty nasty.
moving back to maryland has my jaw to the floor. when i lived there after high school nothing was this high. i even lived there again in my mid 20's..
 I'm at a loss.

i have two super awesome doggies and then there is just me.

ideally i would love a townhouse that is on the side of maryland between dc and the tolls. any suggestions on cities to look in?

i plan to get an incall for a few days a week in different cities, bwi/arundel mills, columbia and white marsh, third is still tbd...

sorry for the run on, just a million thoughts going through my head. :)

im not wanting to buy, just rent. and my credit is fine.

I like Ellicott City over other areas of howard county.  Columbia, Laurel, and Elkridge can be sketchy in certain areas.

The suburbs inside of the beltway or just outside of it would be pretty good. The housing stock is more affordable and road network is close to I-95, 195, 295, 97, or 83.

Several mill complexes on the Jones Falls River have been renovated, providing very nice apartments and condos at reasonable prices. They are in safe areas with easy access to downtown, Inner Harbor and BWI. All the advantages of city living with a country ambiance.

im a big fan of aaco too.
i did the whole federal hill, mt vernon and hampden already...
i want to live somewhere that i have a little backyard so the ruff ruffs can run and play as much as their big hearts desire...

i think ill have to do a few drive bys when i get back. :)

.....I know Columbia is notoriously pricey, but it's worth a look,a great central location with lots of upscale clients.
Also, not as charming, but there are nice areas to it,Laurel,MD. is well located  and reasonable.
Best wishes and good luck,can't wait to see you again! ;-}

i don't plan on hosting from my residence..
i plan on having a nice hotel wed - fri.
so i don't need to (nor want to really lol) live super close to where i work. :)

columbia is definitely on the "work radar." :)
