Shannon has been a very highly regarded provider in the 9 months or so she's beenon the scene... She seems to be having a recent spate of problems but when that happens, it's not uncommon for some who have had good experiences to chime in...
I think you took Top's post as "I had fun so you must not know what you're talking about" when instead I think he meant "That's too bad her service is tanking because I had fun when I saw her."
Schedule this girl at risk of no-show, and have a backup plan. She proved to me there is no respect for my time, costing me a half day. Thats a bullshit way to treat someone!
Peaches, sorry to hear she stood you up. Does not seem like her usual. She was a bit late for my meeting but more than made up for it. Let me know if you wish for me to do a bit of research for you.

I read in the reviews posted recently that she ripped off a
hobbiest, she claimed that she had no covers so she sent him
off to the corner store to get some, then upon his return
she wouldnt answer the phone or the door, thus leaving him
out on time and 160 so count yourself lucky in that you didnt
get the total rip.

No issues to report on our "date" of a few weeks back albeit she's rather new to the business.
I know you have a right to your opinion, but what are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to make me feel worse than I already do? Are you trying to make her hit-miss percentage more respectable? When you have communication less than an hour before confirmed meet time, and have another 40 minutes after confirmed meet time to show or respond, there is no excuse, and all the past good sessions do not make this right or a little more palatable. And FYI, she is not new to the business, as if that incorrect thought may temper the fact that I lost a half of day of both my personal and business life!

I was the hobbiest Trooper was referring to, who was ripped off by Shannon... so I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I agree with everything that's been said in this thread so far.
- First, I agree with Top3. Shannon has had great reviews in the past, which is why I decided to try her out. It's also why I was very surprised that she took my money.
- OmegaZap is also correct in saying that it's ok for others to chime in with their experiences. I had a few people send me private email questioning my negative posting about Shannon. That wasn't unexpected, given the fact that I posted the first negative review on Shannon. I responded to those email by saying I was just trying to get the word out on what transpired in my situation, and people can take it for what it's worth.
- I also agree with Peaches, that there appears to be a recent change in behavior for the worse with this provider.
My guess is that Shannon either took me for the type who doesn't frequent the Internet much, and thought she could rip me off without getting a negative review; or, maybe she's just not familiar enough with our Internet community, and didn't realize word would get out so quickly. In any case, it looks to me as though Shannon is simply not an honest person, and she'll probably rip someone else off if given the opportunity. That's not going to be as much of an issue for her repeat customers... but anyone who is seeing her for the first time needs to be careful. If you leave her alone with the money, don't be surprised if she leaves with it!

merely just a comment - dont read anything into it. as this business isn't regulated or have a code of conduct, pretty much anything goes. if you've been a "hobbyist" for awhile, you'll have scar's to show for it, i know i do.
I now look like the hockey player I used to be, before all the fancy smaaaanchy protection they have now!
