I dread posting this message – but I fear that I must.
There is a predator in Los Angeles. It seems that for at least the last year, there is a man in Hacienda Heights/ Rolling Hills, California that is ripping off providers and has only become more aggressive. His M.O. Is below – please read carefully, and feel free to contact me for additional information and details. What’s scary is this guy has gotten over on not just indie ladies but agency girls as well – which means that there are lots of people out there that are not doing their job or using common sense. He has a penchant for Porn Stars, but has hit lots of other escorts as well. In the last 24 hours I’ve spoken to 5 ladies all of whom had either experienced the exact same M.O. or had heard first hand of someone that had. First let me say that I was rather bold to go visit him knowing that he was doing this to girls, but I felt confident that I could gather the necessary details and get away without a problem... So that the rest of you will know what’s going on.
Here goes:
He says his name is “John” & that he has seen several known porn star providers. If the lady says she knows one of the names mentioned he will use the, “I’ve seen her several times” bit to make the girl feel comfortable. He describes himself as Filipino, 31 years old, and a Sales Rep. He says he lives in Rolling Hills (Mapquest lists it as Hacienda Heights,) just off the 60 fwy. He ALWAYS wants to book an outcall appointment and books it late, (10pm or 10:30pm.)
Here’s the good stuff...
Once he gets the girl to agree to meet him, he starts explaining what he’s into. He stresses the fact that he wants a role playing session. He want you to show up, park in a particular place, (in front of an old yellow Mercedez Benz along a a row of bushes in front of the house.) He stresses that he does not want you to park in the driveway or go to the front door. He has you walk along this side pathway towards the garage.
Once there He wants the girl to show up in a really teeny tiny outfit, “Something I would see a girl wearing in a strip club,” he says. Then he concocts a storyline that consists of the girl playing a ditzy, girl next door role. You are totally into him, just moved next door & wanted to meet him, you get caught breaking into his place, etc. Once inside he tries to rush you, (he figures if he can distract you and start role playing from the door he can get you to forget about being paid.) In the cases were smart ladies requested the money in a discreet place like the bathroom counter – there either was nothing or a check. If you try to leave, he’ll offer to pay by credit card over the phone via Western Union. (He’s got his script down pact.)
Now to my dismay, there are ladies in the past that actually bought his bull and took a check, or believed he was really calling Western Union. In my case, he put a 1600 check in an envelope. When I apologized and said I was leaving because I didn’t take checks, he made a BIG deal out of the fact that he had paid “so & so” that way many times and he thought it would be ok. Then he tried the Western Union line. He is getting to be aggressive – he may try putting his foot against the door to try to stop you from leaving. 
Ladies, I know it might be tempting to take a referral from someone – but just because a gent name drops names of reputable people it does not make him legit. I have always stressed the importance of verification & screening, (as well as deposits) – regardless of who the person uses as a reference. And ALWAYS take the time to verify a reference... What is perhaps the most disturbing is that this guy has actually slipped past AGENCY BOOKERS as well!!!
I know other guys reading this will still argue the virtues of never offering up any information, never paying a deposit, and never paying up front... This is just another example of why it is becoming increasingly important to know your client. I feel lucky that I didn’t get suckered in... I also feel bad that there are those ladies that have been taken. In talking with other ladies, he’s been pulling the same stunt since last year. Please pass on this message to as many ladies as you can so we can put a stop to this by making others aware.
