LOL - does not appear close to the photos of description in the first review, so wonder who that reviewer saw !

In the past, I have seen some of the gals phone numbers tied to ads as gay men .... I just assumed they are historical pre transition, but I am always one to assume the positive ..... however, I have not bought a bridge in Brooklyn yet :)

When looking at the reviews - I saw these two reviews posted for the same provider - TS Pinky:

https://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=297094

Both are from reviewers with many reviews - but the two on this provider are night and day.  Not only on how the session went, but even if the provider is the same ( note - seems that both reviewers responded to an ad with the same photos & phone number ).

Since she is in my neck of the woods - I contacted her and she sounded nice, mentioned she was in Denver ( where the first review was ) and is now in Charlotte ( where the second review was ).  But I did not proceed ...

So  - if it was two different providers, did the first provider do the second a favor by doing a session, getting a great review and then passing on the cell phone to establish the second provider ?  Or just providers sharing the same phone - who alternate on who sees a client, or ....

Or maybe it was just a bad day for the second review - but hard to believe given the second reviewer said it is not the same person.

It really seems that deception is rising.  When I look at BP - it appears half the photos are stolen from GGs !  And less have reviews - even though the providers have been posting for quite awhile.

Tks

A single review doen't mean shit. The first could've been her pimp. It could've been a guy who had a fun time and wasn't too particular about whether it was the girl from the photo or not. The second guy didn't have as good a time so maybe he called her out on it. The shared phone, or passed off number is a good theory too. I think it just goes to show that you should always wear your running shoes, even with reviews....

Unless the 1 review is from you :)

Yes - one review can be a bit risky, but every provider has to have a start.  And if from someone who has a good review history.  But as you surmise ... one data point is not enough for a trend !

Tks !

Did you ask Pinky to pass the phone to Markus or were they one in the same?  I think the latter.

I googled the number and this was one of the top hits.

This is an example of one situation but there seems to be more false ads and bait & switch with TS providers compared to GG providers. I'm guessing part of the problem is because most men who "hobby" regularly and enjoy a TS provider are scared to death to report either good or bad reviews of TS providers because they will be tagged "gay."

It would be very helpful for those of us who are less experienced to get "schooled" by those more experienced in verifying TS providers, any assistance/guidance would be greatly appreciated. It is my practice after seeing an ad to:

1. Find reviews; and
2. Search phone & photos; and
3. Identify social media and personal websites; and
3. Check police reports and negative discussions in the area.

More often that with GG providers, I find it much more difficult to verify TS providers and confirm that the ad is the provider. What tips can the guru's give us less experienced hobbyists?  Thank

apply some simple common sense and don't think with the little head.

Unfortunately, when someone gets scammed, and it was clearly obvious to most everyone else, that's what got them into trouble.   You can teach someone the ropes on how to do something, but you can't teach "common sense".

I won't call anyone out, but I recently got a PM, and it was one of many over the years asking for info.  I look at the ad, tell the person who sent me the PM that its fake, and guess what?

They go see the provider anyways.  I was like, why are you asking me if you are not going to take the advice?

How often do we encourage someone to TOFT, when there is not enough history / info ...

That being said - no information is much different than not looking/and finding information that would give us concern !

Stay current on the ads in your city. Scammers say things like "Last day in town"... If you've been watching the ads and know it's the first time that ad has been posted, you can bet it's a fake. I look at ads on BP everyday. The fakers cycle in and out because their pics and numbers eventually get tagged with negative reviews or feedback. The real girls use the same photos and ads for a long time because they don't need to change them. I know of just about every legit provider in my area without having seen them because I watch the ads.

If you have a regular, ask her about other girls. I do this all the time. I ask girls about doubles but, in the process, gather info about other local girls. Or I'll ask girls which girls NOT to see. It seems petty but they love to talk shit. The girls they talk shit about are all real because they know each other from the clubs and such. It's an easy way to do legwork without the legwork! Lol

I do listen and follow advice as I did with Tiffany Lanvin, I probably avoided a serious disappointment and/or bad situation.  Thank you.

I do find it challenging especially in LA to find TS providers with confidence. New providers or visiting providers show up on ad boards in LA all the time and it is often difficult to vet someone for full comfort so it all depends on how much risk I am willing to accept to see a specific provider.

I'd love to find a good service that will verify and qualify providers just the way service providers use agencies, assistants or other service providers to evaluate new clients.  TER helps, other sites and searches help but unless you can find the provider's legal name and some other basic information, it is nearly impossible to be sure you will be safe.

How about starting such a service for hobbyists?

It seems most ads I see are 'scams'  .... with the proportion of posts from un-reviewed gals !  Not sure there is an answer - as this is an 'underground' activity/hobby ...so to expect ground rules might be asking to much.

Multiple good reviews on TER, with some on line connection to one of the reviewers is best - but that is a small universe !

One other move is to use social media. If you can find the provider on FB then follow what she does, where she's going, how she interacts with her friends (both real friends and FB friends). Similarly, chart what she's doing on Twitter. You can see if she's down to earth, intelligent, fu**ing nuts, and most of all: real.

And one final thought, sift back through the posts on this board. There are regulars on here who are constantly recommending providers. Obviously you might not have the same taste or interests but at least you can start with providers who are real and with whom there is some respect and positive interactions among the customers.

The longer I am on here the less I am surprised by things.  I know a couple of providers both GG and TS.  Met them through the hobby.  Saw reviews pop up for them left by "well respected" reviewers.  Or at least by reviewers that have left a large number of reviews.  The reviews they left for these providers were fake.  They did not materially impact the providers score.  However the information provided was either false, our of date, or both.

These are the type of reviews I would normally rely on.  The person has a large number of reviews so they must be reliable.  Unfortunately that is not always the case.  I am guessing these cheap asses write reviews for the free VIP.
