I did it not just because I wanted to win (but for most of that time i thought the ter community was gonna send a resounding NO to my attempt to be miss ter... boy was i surprised), but the exposure alone to the rest of the community to transexuals and what we represent in todays society was important enough for me to try.

Ok - so we're down to the last couple of days to get in likes and votes on the Photo only general board.... and i have been posting for 28 days.... it's a fun, worthwhile, but occasionally exhausting commitment, as that post opens at 305AM EST every night here on the East coast... i suppose not expecting to win the Miss TER, but.... if enough people crowded into the same room and cast more votes/likes, well.... you never know.... ,)
I can only say this... i wish more of us TS girls would post there each month... good for a visible presence, good for breaking down more barriers, and maybe even sometimes good for crossing the lines between forums into other areas of interest....i've had a couple of people write me with compliments, and one said with some warm humor that they never/rarely go on to the TS board, but might start exploring here a little more... ; )
To TS Sasha - who last year got the first Miss TER awarded for a TS - - Respect forever, girl. You will always simply rock.

i also should give kudos to TER for its evenhandedness with TGirls.
as far as i can tell we are only separated out for purposes of ease of use of the hobbyists.
there's a provider & client matching/review site out there that shall remain nameless, that wouldn't authenticate & let me into the pool despite 4 of their other providers vouching for me and that i'm authenticated all over the dang place.
enuf of the rant.
