some of my pics ended up on that UK site too, and they were were from photosets but without my logo watermark. its bit of a dilemma when you're presented with an option when setting up site to allow paying members to download pics or not. i originally disabled download option on my photosets but then received complaints from a couple of paying members. when i asked a big time tgirl with a very successful paysite what she does, she said download option is expected by members and all you can do is to make sure you watermark your pics.  but even with that, you can't do obtrusive watermarking 'cuz your site members are paying for right to see clear photos. like i said, just another dilema in the wild wild west of the internet. #sux

Its been going on for years, but lately I've been seeing it more and more. Even seen a provider friend of mines photos in VIP placement which I know this girl could not possibly be advertising because she is deceased. Sorry loser websites stealing our pics with the hopes of generating traffic to boost their popularity Ladies have you been contacted from hobbyists who have seen your pics on sites you didn't post them on?

I have been to war with several sites over the years that have pirated my info, parts of my (very well written) ad copy, photos, you name it, i have also seen it, and it is a real BIG pet peeve of mine.....

Just a few months ago i found a young woman in Atlanta, GA that was using one of my photos (a stunning quality picture, too), and after finding more info on her, she looks absolutely nothing like me at all... when i found an additional contact number for her, ((404) 604-8612) i called/texted it, she responded, i asked her why she was using media that does not belong to her, and of course the response was : "leave me alone you fuc**ing bitch"....

Truly dishonorable as it gets, and none of them seem to care at all... i just hope that enough gentlemen write some reviews, or come to *that* door and turn right around in the next minute for her to learn something from it....

Another good one (and i REALLY hope they have gone out of business), was the UK based "TransGays" escort sites (a disgusting site name i truly disliked - and i disliked it mainly because most real TS women i have ever known, especially myself, were never, nor are NOT, gay men - and of course that is one of the worst stereotypes still in this society.... they stole photos, created fake profiles with other escort names, and used parts of my ad copy as well...

It took me a couple of months to get them to take most of it down, and only after i did a "whoIs" search and made overseas calls, and contacted their primaries and threatened legal.

our society it seems has gone all the way back to the "snake oil" days of the late 1800's and early 1900's when anyone could sell anything to the general public, and not only would they buy it, but most often the criminal psychos themselves either got away with it, or weren't punished nearly enough to deter others if caught.

all i can say is, thank goodness for some decent search engines, and as always, Thanks for the TER and other genuinely legit forums that people can use to find out what's real and what's not. Copyrighting always helps, but these scoundrel and sleazy services will still find a way, especially if based overseas. Truly sad.

Safe Travels, always,

:)

its not some site doing this its some providers, this is the main reason some people either blur, crop or watermark their imagines. Even with that people still try using them.

Personally I don't know if a advertiser has used my pics, however I have seen them on a few websites that I did not upload them to. Almost like they copy & pasted to their sites. I rarely update my pics and when I do i'll certainly blur, crop, resize or watermark them.

....but when you do take measures to protect your images sometime it can work against you
