... 'If you are a Newbie or here in TER for the first time, go to the Self-Help Center before posting here.'

it seems that everyday someone new comes in and asks the same question... and a large majority of the time, the regulars are always pointing the Newbies to the Self-Help Center.

why not make it a lot more obvious and see if that helps those newbies.

having that stupid lifesaver icon on that page isn't helping. the newbies seem to be oblivious to that.

but then... most of the comments you make don't make any sense. that's nothing new.

why don't you start acting mature?

NOT!  Do you really think we don't know who you are?

that follow me in every forum that I post in?

if anyone wants to know what a stalker is... here are 3 examples... inicky, gagambler and perfectstorm.

it's time for everyone to know who those people really are... stalkers. take note while you are posting in the forums.

Stalkers?

Worst case we try it and the number of lost people goes up, and then the site can switch back to the life-ring icon.
Best case it works like a champ and newbies learn on their own.

Or we make no changes and keep dealing with the same amount of "help me" requests on the Newbie page.

... and that's how I found the proper info when I was a new member of that website.

Let's see if TER admins will add that. It's not hard to code that into the webpages.
