A reasonable representation?

When you're  TOFTT, there's always a chance this will happen. IMO you acted correctly. A provider who misrepresents herself is counting on the hobbyists staying and going thru with the session. She figures the hobbyists is so worked up and ready to go, he'll think with his little head and stay.

You can read review after review, where hobbyists say, it wasn't the girl in the picture, but I stayed anyway. This scenario usually ends poorly for the guy.  Why would you want to reward bad behavior and stay or for that matter, leave a small part of the donation. Walking away and leaving nothing is the correct action.  If more guys did this, instead of staying or leaving a part of the donation, maybe these providers who pull this stuff would think twice about acting this way.

I'd like some input from you to set me straight. I recently made an appointment with a provider. She had a great picture in her ad. Her listing was "new" and therefore find't gave any reviews. When I went th the appointmnet i was disapointed to see that the picture was far from being representative. I understand that real photos are rarely used in ads for various reasons.  However, I do expect that the photos are a reasonable representation of the provider.  She was pleasant enough when I met her at her incall. I am certain that she was willing to provide as advertised. I just wasn't turned on with the misrepresentation. I'm no Brad Pitt but I never represented that I was going to be. I politely told her that I wasn't interested and left without making a scene (why would I). She however was indignat and told me good luck finding my fantasy.

Was I rude to leave? Your thoughts are appreciated. None from the peanut gallery please.

BTW - I have since found an amazing fantasy...

I agree. I expect someone to be a true representation of their ad.
We all have different likes and dislikes and fantasies are great but I'm not staying if things are too far off base.

Unless there was a specific disclosure that "photos are not me", I'm call fraud on her part.
It sounds from the quote "I understand that real photos are rarely used in ads for various reasons" that you found her on BP and not here.

So a few red flags here:
a) BP ad
b) TOFTT on BP ad
c) not searching the images prior to booking

You were correct to walk away without leaving a dime ASAP and not going through the hassle of a misrepresentation and giving her a poor review

in order to make the most of our numbered days in this biz, it is very important to market ourselves in an honest manner. In situations like such, you did the right thing to leave because, as my subject line states, "it's like walking into Mercedes and being sold a Honda"...when you really wanted the Mercedes. Lol. Yes a humorous analogy but a true statement. With all the safety issues lately, please think with your big head and not your jr. Especially if it is a bait and switch sitch and no reviews. I know as providers we ALL start somewhere, where we don't have reviews but when it seems just too good to be true you will either be disappointed and/or be in trouble with the law. Lesson learned and keep it movin!

I don't understand why a provider couldn't use her own pictures.  I do understand the need for privacy and discretion, but you can always crop or blur out the face or other identifying tattoos or marks.  I have 100% real photos.  What I hate is that often I am notified that someone is using my pictures.
