Yea, it use to be on Oltorf I believe.......Back in the early 90's, TV (not TS) hookers hung outside where Guerros is today.  I worked at a big hotel in college down the block

What up, y'all?
Just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Just a new girl to the board, but been in the biz for a lil bit.

Hey doll!!!!
Aww...good to see a friendly face! How are ya?

Welcome to the board.  I saw one of your reviews recently and noticed you are from Austin.  I lived there for many years. Miss that city, the atmosphere, the food, and the peeps.   Providers unfortunately tend to come here and leave, sometimes returning.  Its a review board so often the posts are a bit opinionated. Either way, the small group of peeps who contribute here are generally good peeps.

Again, welcome!

Hey, thanks LATS.
May I call you that, or do you prefer LATSDog?

I AM in Austin and man...it's a great city! Been here since 2002. If you gotta be in Texas, this is where you wanna be.
You should come back and visit. The food is probably even BETTER. So many amazing restaurants here. I actually helped to open a couple, although one only lasted a year (the other is still going strong), but while we were open, it was undoubtedly one of the coolest jobs I've ever had. You know....aside from working over 400 hours in the first 6 weeks of opening. Hoo boy!
They paid overtime and those checks weren't fat...they were YUUUGE!!! lol...

Seriously, though...I'm on a few forums and such, as JessicaOng knows (hey doll!) and I'm definitely no stranger to differing opinions, but that's one of the things that makes people so interesting, sometimes.

You know, I've heard things about TER, from other providers....but I figure I'll come here and do me, and see what I can make of it. Right?

So far, everyone has been very nice and welcoming, and I'm alright with that :D

I definitely miss the food in Austin....

Whataburger
Franklins
Salt Lick
Guerros
Suzi's Chinese kitchen
Baby A's

And Wed night at the good ole country club...whine me dine me 69 me drinks till 11pm :)

Austin has definitely changed but its still a great city.  enjoy.

Whataburger is simply THE BEST fast food (short order, really) burger in all the world! We even have In-n-Out here now, and it does not compare.

You might be disappointed in what Guerro's has become. I swear...the food tastes like it's from SYSCO, and their margaritas are ridiculously small and short on the tequila.

Salt Lick is still awesome. Franklin's is like, the big deal here now, and I think Suzi's is long gone. That was down on S. Lamar, wasn't it?

Baby A's is still going. The food is ok but you cant beat those Purples!

The Suzi's on Lamar is definitely gone. There is one up on the north side and its on Shoal Creek.

Guerros was moving into their new spot on Congress about the time I left Austin.

Enjoy.  Austin is a great city

What? Guerro's was just moving into the Congress location??
You've been away for far too long. I think you should come back for a visit. I'll show you around, lol.

You know...I can remember when we still had the porn theater (pretty sure it was) right there at oltorf/Congress and Congress was....not like it is today. You'd be surprised at how much it's changed.

I was recently there visiting a friend. Yep, that area has hit the jack pot......very nice. It was always a great area even back then.  While the small town feel of Austin may have vanished, its the best city in Texas by a country mile :)

No doubt. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else, in this state.
My ex lives in Houston, and she misses this town every day. I like to rub it in her face when I send her pics of friends and I at Barton Springs.
You know...this past winter was so warm that we were able to go swimming at the greenbelt for a good chunk of it. Never seen it like that.
Like, it was February and March, and we were hitting the 80s here. Too awesome!

I figure I'll come here and do me
Some of our ads and asks here are overt. Others are subtle and masterful. Brava.

Well hello there! Taylor...I gotta say...you have an intoxicating smile.
I've been asked to come to Atlanta a couple times, but if I do, I'm only coming to see you!

Welcome Ivy. From your pics, I think you might be the most delicious dish in the hill city of hipsters. IMHO, within the real world - most gents don't have a safe zone to confess their love for the trans ladies, and wax poetic on adventures past and present. So our voices look to the online community to be heard, and that makes this board special. Glad to have you here.

Wow! Like....wow! I .....I don't even know how to respond to that. I think you must be legally blind because your words do flatter me so!
Thank you so much!

Yeah...I really wish people in this world would just get over it already. Why does it matter to anyone what our own attractions are? Especially if they impact another person's life in no way, shape, or form.
You know, I've been incredibly lucky in this life, and especially lucky (and grateful) that I never had to endure what so many other trans folk have.
My friends and family accepted me, without question. When I first started my transition, 4 years ago,  was working a VERY "manly" job. Most of my adult career was spent as a motorcycle tech (almost 10 years), then I moved on to working in a salvage yard (of all places), cutting vehicles in half, yanking out transmissions, engines, auto interiors, etc.
My bosses at that job all had my back, even convincing me to transition on the job (as I had planned to quit, start my transition, and find a new job as the new me) and going so far as to change the employee handbook to include gender expression.
I was floored!
The amount of support that I had was inspiring and overwhelmingly joyous.

I never got leered at (in a bad way), only got mis-gendered once when I was just starting out, and have never had to deal with the ridicule (except once, just recently in fact) that so many others have been exposed to.

If I were a believer in religion, I would say that I am certainly blessed.

When the world looks at us like that....with an understanding and empathetic eye, it allows us to shine as brightly as we can.
I simply don't understand why anyone would want to douse another's light, as if they were snuffing out a candle flame.

I wish that people could feel free to express themselves, whether it's attraction or showing their person, without fear of being ostracized by those who supposed "care".

Your tummy looks delicious....so smooth. Mmmmmm. Don't mean to perv on you too hard your first visit, I just had to mention it.

Wow! Such warm welcomes!

I don't mind perving. I've been a cam girl for over 2 years, and have heard all kinds of things.
Besides...I like to perv on people just as much as the next girl. Maybe more, lol.
