"Trafficking" is the new excuse they are using to ruin lives. They've used it for knowing an escort personally, giving them rides, etc. It's called job welfare for busybodies. I wouldn't assume anything about the providers.

The charges against the prosecutor came from a Federal investigation into "human trafficking."  One suspects that the providers were neither upscale nor TER reviewed.  The provincial gov't in Ontario shut down Fantasy World with those same charges, including coercion and underage workers.  It all seems some distance from me, yet the prospect of arrest is enough to give everyone in the hobby, both providers and clients, reason to shudder.

Twenty year prosecutor paid for sex 'hundreds of times' between 2010-2015.  Charge with 15 criminal charges including one felony, 'pandering'.  The report states he solicited prostitutes from web sites such as Escort Vault and Backpage three or four times a week.  He was caught during an FBI investigation into trafficking.  The prosecutor is 61 years old.

After reading this two thoughts occurred to me.  He has one hell of a bank account, and second, he must have balls the size of grapefruits!

The problem is there is real "trafficking" of the underage and truly vulnerable going on amidst the independent, consensual, adult, sex work.  If you read the story and go a little beyond, the ring leader in this case was identified and if you see what he admitted to and plead guilty to, you will likely agree there is a very dark side to this world I'd hope, as a hobbyist, you'd prefer to avoid.  BP seems to be ground zero for this from a marketing perspective with a mixture of "legitimate" and sketchy sex workers.

A little time and homework on TER helps one be able to spot these risky situations and enables us to mitigate the risk by following the basic advice of only visiting established, well reviewed providers.

Had the prosecutor done this, he'd likely be here keeping on keeping on.  Instead, it seems, he gambled over and over and eventually lost.

I'd love to know exactly how this prosecutor got caught and how they determined he'd been so rampant at this, but it doesn't really matter.

One of the really amazing things in this case is one of his providers actually videotaped him!

Not as amazing any more! I've had one "joke" about having an incall with cameras around it... knowing her I put a 50/50 chance on it being fake. Same one confessed to taping guys with her phone. I bet it happens more than you think.

His wife filed for divorce a week after the charges came out.  And he has since enrolled into a Sex Addiction Clinic out of state.  I'm sure his defense strategy will include its not his fault, but his illness.
