I live in a suburb of Los angeles, my ex wife is LAPD, inmy town we have five judges, two of them along with the mayor live on my block.  Three of them went to high school with me and I play poker with all of them on the first thursday of every month.  Whenever I am eating out and notice an uniformed officer in the restaurant I always make it s point to pick up the tab and thank him or her for their service to our community.  I never ask for any favors.  I'm an upstanding citizen in my community and don't go out of my way to violate the law but I've found on every occassion I've been treated well by local law enforcement.  I've had tickets torn up after they were written (yes, I know now it can be done).  I've been driven home after being caught drinking a little too much.  I'd recommend making a few friends in the area. in which you operate.

Maybe I'm just being naive, but has anyone been busted by LE and willing to talk about it?  This question meant for everyone.

In hindsight, what was your first clue that the other person was LE?

After you were busted, what happened?

Were there any repercussions from your brush with LE?

What would you do differently?

In hindsight, what was your first clue that the other person was LE?

When the light bar on the car behind me lit up like a christmas tree.

After you were busted, what happened?

I went to jail, and got bailed out.

Were there any repercussions from your brush with LE?

My insurance went up.

What would you do differently?

Don't drink and drive!

I was young and foolish and driving way too fast down Highway 35 in a red mustang.  I knew it was LE behind me 'cause he was driving a highway patrol car.....but by the time I knew, it was too late.  I was a goner.  The guy frisked me.  He left no part un-frisked.  Made me spread my legs and put my hands on the top of the car.  He also made me set down my diet coke.

Ummm...  Did you mean busted in the hobby?
Sorry.
Nevermind.

When i was traveling in Florida a few years back i stopped at what i thought was going to be a strip club (lots of pink neon outside the building)to catch the first half of a monday night football game but it turned out to be a massage parlor. I wasnt in one before and the first clue should have been the fact i had to be buzzed in. Upon entry there was 5 or 6 very attractive asian girls and they didnt look happy. a white guy came up to me and asked what was i looking for. As i only had 60 or 70 dollars on me at the time (luck very lucky) i said oops im in the wrong place and started to leave. He followed me out and identified himself as a cop. He  asked me how i made him that fast.I told him that i had no idea he was a cop and that i was just looking to watch the game and maybe get a lapdance. Lucky it was 9 pm and that i didnt have a record, they ran me and my plates through the system and i came up clean. Thats as close as i've come... would have turned out worse if i had had a couple of hundred on me....lol

About 10 years ago. Lady undercover cop posing as a SW. Coppers love to try to scare you & pull your chain by making it appear you just commited the crime of the century. The Court arraignment is a farce. It's like traffic court. Not there to seek truth or justice but just collect money.  $360.00 fine, loss of time from work and I didn't even get a CBJ from that vile excuse for a human-being lady cop.

Wast of my time
waste of my money
Waste of tax payers money
Waste of police manpower
Gained much contempt for LE

as a provider, even though I refused his request for a BJ and had accepted no money I was still hauled in.  I did not agree nor offer anything but went to jail anyway.  No money was even out and none accepted go figure.  If they want you they will take you, no matter what.

I tried to leave when he asked for a BJ and he was naked, I was semi clothed (bra & panties) told him he had wrong idea even after he got russian tutoring.

Case was not pursued and eventually dropped but it still shows on my record as an arrest for prostitution.  I had to get bailed out for 1K-the jail part was the worst, nasty people in there and evil jail guards-I would rather be a hooker than a miserable jail guard.

I had the bad experience of calling a jail once and talking to a guard: to this day even after working as a telephone operator, it was the vilest, rudest human being I've ever spoken to, and it just dripped from the receiver.

And this society arrests providers and puts these people in charge of them.  The people in jail, by and large, haven't even been to trial, and are ostensibly, innocent till proven guilty.  Sheesh.

It goes without saying then, I've never been arrested.

you can submit a request to have the arrest expunged from your record. Simple form, no lawyer needed. Simply recount the facts, state it was a misunderstanding, and don't accuse them of entrapment.

I got busted for getting a BJ in the back of my Van. Charged with "Lewd and Lecivious" as no money was involved. Given a notice to appear like a traffic ticket. Paid the fine $500.00. If I had a do over  #1. I would have got a room  #2 should have hired a Laywer as the cop had to climb to see us through the windshield.  Oh well Just chalk it up to Youth. Those were good days.

the undercover cop asked $ exchange for some sexual acts and I agreed
I know i was dumb I was new to the business and I didnt know everything I was young and foolish.....
They got me on tape, then i was handcuffed, taken to jail, got released same night with a court date. well, at first they asked for 1G bail, but i couldnt get any bail bond , they dont bail prostitution cases, so i told them i've got no bail, and they just released me without the bail money.

Well the lesson is NEVER TALK ABOUT SEX AND MONEY !

I'd rather not "out" her here, but she is a well known lady in San Diego that helped out many of us that hadn't had that experience by explaining what she did wrong, and how to avoid that problem in the future.

The main thing is SCREEN, SCREEN, SCREEN. (And of course, never do anything that is illegal~~it's just a DATE!)

She is about the wisest lady that I know... just do a search on the San Diego board and you'll find her posts.

Back when it was OK to pick up street walkers, I picked up this girl, very nice, and took her to a hotel on Clark St and after we got in the room, the vice cops knocked on the door and I stupidly left them in. We both got arrested (they claim they overheard us thru the door) and locked up. I called my buddy an neighbor (2:00 AM) to come and bail me out, his wife overheard  me on the other line, I told my wife it was for drunken driving. The cops gave me a business card for a lawyer and suggested I contact him. Long story short, the lawyer said $500 and it all would go away. Paid, got to court and the judge dismissed the case. I figured the cops got 150, the lawyer 150 and the judge 200. That was Chicago back in those days.
