Take a deep breath...everything is gonna be alright. You are correct. Each board is moderated so that posts can be reviewed before being displayed to everyone in order to prevent problems. They are typically approved at least once a day, but usually 2-3 times per day.

Can somebody tell me why the mods here must first review a post before it can get posted? It takes several HOURS for a post to get posted after one hits the "Post Message" button. That's kinda weird. Talk about slow delivery. It must have something to do with censorship..the kind that would serve to minimize headaches and lawsuits.
Or maybe it's because I'm new..a probation period maybe?
One last thing..does anyone know if Peanuts in LA has a dance floor?
Sorry, you're 0 for 2. Message boards are moderated to keep things reasonably civil and to monitor for provider/client self-promotion. Look at some of the unmoderated message boards on any topic and you'll see the difference.
