Fake FBI/DEA busts

I posted this on legal, but thought I may get more reads in the general discussion.  I am looking for providers who have been victimized by fake FBI or DEA busts.  The client meets with the provider then says he is an FBI/DEA Agent.  He tells the provider he has to search the room, places the provider in a bathroom and then steals anything of value (cash, cellphones, laptops, cameras...).  Sometimes this guy calls other fake "Agents" to the room.  Please respond if you have been victimized by this guy.

I was a victim of a fake bust.  I reported it to the FBI, but they said it was not significant enough for them to investigate. They said if there were more victims or if I could show it was an ongoing problem, they would open an investigation.  My friends have heard other providers on other message boards mention being robbed like this.  I think these guys are robbing lots of providers and I want them to stop.  This business is hard enough without having to worry about scum like this.  These guys are banking on us not reporting the robbery.  So, if you have been a victim, stand up and help me stop it before another provider is hurt.

Yes I had that experience in Long Island

I have not encountered it, however, I have heard of traveling girls having this exact issue come up in Detroit, Arizona, and San Diego.  I would post on those boards if I were you.

Impersonating LE officer, local or federal, is a major crime. You stated that after you reported about this kind of activity to a LE agent but he was doing nothing about it ... this sounds like a tall tale. Just my 2cents.
