What are good areas of Cincinnati?

I have found myself a bit confused in the area of Cincinnati, such a big beautiful city. Someone said to stay away from the Sharonville area, but I'm closer to 71. I'm kinda thinking to check out the N. Kentucky area, any thoughts?
