I have found some new artists that I really like via the similar artists lists on various sites...  

The similarity is established via simple and quick questionnaires which ask one to rate artists on an agree strongly to disagree strongly scale with respect to various qualities: upbeat, somber, fast, slow, witty, straightforward etc.  

A general series of questions could be created and then answered for each provider and then similarity scores compared...  

Obviously, the questions chosen are of utmost importance...
