Asia is among my favorite destinations, and Southeast Asia was on my bucket list, so I booked a ten-day tour to Vietnam and Cambodia in January.

Vietnam is a little frustrating; the Commies are trying (unsuccessfully) to clamp down on prostitution. They regularly bust brothels and escort services. But women are all around in bars and clubs; you just can’t bring them back to your room in the better hotels. In Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon), that wasn’t a serious problem because of the availability of love hotels. I arrived way too late for any action my first night, but on the second night, I went to a well-reviewed hostess bar on a street that’s full of them. I arrived around 8:30, and found the place full of women and only two guys. I picked out a sexy little one who spoke passable English, and she was hot to trot. I paid the $25 bar fine to take her out; she took me to a nearby hotel that served only one purpose and got a nice room for $20, lucked out and had a great GFE with her, and paid her $60. A little more expensive than bringing a free-lancer to your own hotel room, but still a good deal. The next two nights were in cities in the Mekong Delta; if there were hookers around, I sure didn’t know where to look. I went to one discotheque; I was the only white guy there and a PYT attached herself to me. She didn’t behave like a hooker, just a chick who hadn’t seen a white guy. I was wearing a open-necked shirt and she was intrigued by my chest hair; couldn’t keep her hands away. I guess Viet guys are pretty hairless. Weird

Next country was Cambodia, hoping to meet some brown-skinned Khmer beauties. Cambodia.is an entirely different story. Sex is everywhere and abundant, and the hotels don’t care what you do. First stop was Phnom Penh, the capital. There are hostess bars and pick-up bars all around, and the atmosphere is free-wheeling. My first night I cruised some of the well-known places around 9:30 and many were just opening and/or basically empty. This town starts late! I cruised a few hostess bars that had plentiful pickings, but none floated my boat. Many gals speak limited/no English; combined with the music noise level, it was impossible to make any connection. Finally I hit another hostess bar near my hotel and latched onto a cute Cambodian who spoke passable English. After some necking in the bar, we agreed on $50 for an hour; I paid a $10 bar fine and took her back to my hotel. Again I lucked out; she was passionate and provided a great time. The second night was unexpected. The day before, I had a body massage at a reputable spa, not the “happy ending” kind of place. The masseuse was cute and shapely. I went back the second day for a foot massage, and requested the same masseuse who seemed very happy to see me. Half way through, she started to kiss me. Hmmm. She agreed to come to my hotel at 10:30 after work. I immediately regretted my proposal. After all, I had no guarantee she would show up, but she had my phone number (I always get a local SIM card for my phone), hotel and room number, so I couldn’t very well go out hunting. Sure enough, she called me right on time from the lobby! The reception also called me to announce her presence – talk about girl-friendly hotels – a staff member cheerily brought her up to my room. Bottom line: she stayed the night for $50 and provided another GFE time. Unfortunately there was no time in the morning for play; I had to get up before dawn for a flight to my next destination.

On to Siem Reap, the location of Angkor Wat, the ruins of the ancient Khmer civilization and one of the eight wonders of the world. Absolutely incredible sights, but that’s another story. My tour guide was a young single guy who knew the local hooker scene. He offered to take me to the clubs that the locals patronize, where tourists don’t go. At our first stop, as soon as we sat down at a table, a couple of young lovely FLs came over, sat down and introduced themselves. One of them met my specs (pretty face, slim body) but my guide said she was “unavailable.” He later told me that many of the local gals spoke no English and were afraid of foreigners (too big?). We moved on to a second club; as soon as we sat down an older woman came over and spoke to my guide. Almost immediately two babes came over and the matron said “pick one.” It was a tough choice; they were both solid 8s. The rate was $65 for the night, which I paid to the matron. The girl was ready to go with me right away, but my guide and I came on his motorcycle! So she took my hotel information and said she would come separately. My hotel was girl-friendly in a formal way; they have a $15 fee for a “joiner.” So I stopped at the reception desk, told them that I would soon be “joined,” and signed a chit for the amount. The girl showed up quickly, the hotel staff announced her arrival and escorted her to my room. She took off her heels and shrank by 5 inches; she wasn’t as tall as I thought. Anyway, we had a nice but non-GFE time and she spent the night.

The next night I was ambivalent about another session. I was feeling satiated, but we went back to the same club. If I didn’t see someone extraordinary, I would pass. This time the matron paraded four babes in front of me. Again, all looked good. I asked if anyone spoke English, and one immediately started jabbering in English. There was something about her that was very appealing, so she was my choice. She turned out to be 30 years old, which accounted for her appeal. She was experienced and more sophisticated, and provided a great time. I told her about my screwy schedule the next day – my last one. I had to check out of my hotel by 2:00 pm but I wasn’t going to the airport until 9:00 pm. Sooo, the next afternoon, we went to a love hotel, I paid $10 for the room, spent the afternoon together, then went to dinner. A great end to my trip!

Epilogue: I flew on Korean Air. They obviously aren’t subject to employment discrimination regulations like US carriers; all their flight attendants are attractive young women.
