I work remotely for a company out of state and am taking the plunge finally and want to get my stuff setup and going.  I work remotely from my company and I know P411 will call to talk to me or whatever to verify.  Since I dont have an office number either and just started there a couple months ago this maybe a bit weird.  Would it be better to look for newbie friendly providers and build up that way vs Employment verification?  Also is there a good place to scope out Phx area newbie friendly preferably E. Valley?

What if Hobbyist A says Hobbyist B works for him and then Hobbyist B says Hobbyist A works for him?  Or what if you just set up a separate free google voice number for each employer and then have someone else call back with an Indian accent and claim you work in tech support?
