Hobby48 just because things get a little worn and doesn't functioning properly doesn't mean I toss it aside and buy something new.

If that was the case there would be A LOT more men tossed aside in my life lo

Non hobby question sorry......

I have a CD stuck in the player in my vehicle. Does anyone have any secrets on how to get it out without going to the dealership.

I don't need to hear press the eject button either, the stress of finals is kicking my ass this week. I'm already having a hard day mentally, I used Febreeze on my mirrors instead of glass cleaner, forget I put my cooked egg whites in the freezer to cool and left them there for 4 hours.

Any insightful suggestions would be much appreciate

Bailey,
Here are a couple of different ways to attempt a CD-ectomy.

Other ways involve using a nail file to try to get underneath it. If all else fails I am at home all afternoon and not too far from you. Just PM me.

Also try a Tweezers, a real thin one, that way you can grab it!! Hope you get it fixed, stay positive!! Good luck on your finals..

It would play over and over and over. Still have the lyrics to Black Dog and When The Levee Breaks running through my head.

Little bit of oil on a Qtip and tweezers have done it for me. And then to get the cd out......... LOL

Just don't plan on salvaging the disc.  If it's a multi-disc changer, you may need to call a stereo shop or the Dealer if it's a stock radio.
Good luck!

Carefully examine the area around the slot for the CD.  Look for a very small pinhole. The pinhole provides access to the manual ejection button. If you find straighten out a paper clip and insert it into the hole.

Testerosa is correct.  You can always get a new car in flagstaff!

and shake it 3 times. Then go home and get fuc@ing eggs out of the freezer before they explode.

I guess that's good to hear, BM.  That said you won't toss this old unit aside, you'll just keep pumping it up!
