I have been hobbying for about two years, and still consider myself somewhat of a newbie which is why I am posting here. I only hobby on business trips. This means that I often modify travel plans, and incur extra costs to make my appointments work.
My point in posting is that TER has a huge hole for clients like me. This relates to NCNS and cancellations. I have had a rash of these lately. I follow all the rules, do my research, select highly reviewed ladies, and everything else that the diligent hobbyist is supposed to do. I also stick to the higher end of the price scale and book for at least two hours, so my problems should not be happening because I am cheap. But none of this matters when the cancellation or NCNS happens.
TER needs an area of this site just for the hobbyist, where these events are reported and tallied. All the reviews are useless when you get stood up. And the consequences when you are hooking this into travel plans are significant. It's not like I can just rebook the next day. I have to wait months for my next opportunity.
I had previously decided to essentially stop hobbying due to this. I decided this weekend to give it one more shot, and despite booking with someone I had seen before, and reconfirming the day before, I got cancelled on. AGAIN. I cut short a social activity last night, so I could be ready this morning.
I have contacted TER admin about this, as I am sure that many others have. The lack of information on the provider's history of NCNS and cancellations has pretty much turned me off of this entire business. I would happily restart my VIP and pay for this data if it existed. So TER lost a paying customer due to this problem. For the past few two years, I have paid many thousands of dollars per year in this hobby, but now I am pretty much done. I wonder how many ladies are seeing their revenues drop thru now fault of their own, when people like me get turned off of this business.
This post is not about me. I hope that if enough people speak up, that TER will look at making this change. I think it would help not only the hobbyist, but also the the providers who treat their customers with more respect than I have seen lately. Those with the best performance would see their revenues increase, as hobbyists would send more business their way
although I believe the S&P board would be a more appropriate venue for this thread, and I also believe that is where this thread will end up shortly to join all the other people asking for that feature.
Maybe you are right and if enough of us ask for it, maybe someday we will get it. I know I vote yes on this idea, and I bet you thousands of other TER members support the idea as well.
I extended my trip an extra day just to see this lady that had a good reputation elsewhere, but was looking for her first review here on TER. I decided to try and help her out so I scheduled well in advance and confirmed the day before. The time comes, and no contact. Tried several times to reach her, but to this day, I got no contact and no explanation. I still see her ad here on TER and she is now "well reviewed." LOL. This experience has soured me and I will not be willing to help a new lady where once I would have.
Life happens and cancellations I can understand. NCNS with no explanation afterwards is definitely something we should share with others
This has been brought up before but should be brought up again. Just a few days ago someone brought it up On the newbie board, and I suggested the same thing. The suggestion and policy board is where this belongs.
Unless there is NO WAY to possibly contact the other person, there is no valid excuse for NCNS by either a man or a woman.
It is highly negative IMO and there really should be a permanent way to report it.

It should be a simple incident report (without any EXTRA negative stuff): "Mary TER ID ######, NYC incall, 8 PM"; "Suzy TER ID ######, LV outcall, 4-6 PM".
No rants, no raves, no crying ... "We confirmed 10 times over 2 weeks!" "She texted me 5 minutes before!" "I called every 5 minutes for 4 hours and she wouldn't even pick up!" Leave the negative stuff out of it.
I was NCNS'd by a touring lady who absolutely had to rush home for a family emergency (verified). It was a pretty good excuse!
As the list grows, you'd see who is a
- once in a blue moon NCNSer
- occasional NCNSer
- chronic NCNSer
or has never NCNSd, not even on the list
Should it be a FORUM list or an incrementing piece of Profile info? I think verifying info for the Profile might be tough, so maybe it should just be a forum thing
and as far as I am concerned as long as there is SOMEWHERE to keep a record as you suggest it would be a huge improvement over what we have now as the only thing we can do is to make a post on our regional board which falls off the first page in a matter of days and is completely forgotten about.

How about this two-part suggestion:
(1) add an "NCNS" counter to TER Profiles or maybe a "NCNS in the past 12 months" counter.
(2) create a new MODERATED "NCNS" board.
Post your NCNS to the NCNS board: Name, TER ID, city, date, time ONLY. "Mary, ######, Your City, July 30, 9 PM". Let others comment or not. E.g., "I was with Mary at 9PM! She must have double booked!" or "This is Mary. I don't know you, did not have an appointment to see you and I've never even been to Your City." Etc. Once the dust settles (a few days, at most?), the MODERATOR decides whether to increment the Profile by one unit.
My "NCNS in the past 12 months" suggestion is NOT simple and might be too difficult to implement. Who is going to keep track? Will TER pay someone to program the database to keep track of the date of each NCNS "plus one" and subtract one after 12 months?
Well, this is the suggestion board and that's mine
I see where this would be a very useful report list.
I hope TER can start this! ESPECIALLY for the NCNS and same day cancellations
I'm curious what would be the cancellation notification "cut off " time.... 24 hrs, 48 hrs,
