1) Efficacy and safety has never been proven. Truly proven, not just from the biased safety studies from the manufacturer. Because how can they say that you would have or would not have gotten HPV and/or cervical cancer with or without the vaccine? There is NO way to know.  
   
 Long term safety has not been determined because that takes time. Short term safety can been seen in the VAERS (vaccine adverse event reporting system) reporting for this shot. BTW, vaccines are not held to the same safety testing as any other pharmaceuticals. Nor can ANY vaccine manufacturer be sued for any adverse reaction/death/damages from ANY vaccines. They can not be held liable for anything vaccine related here in the states.  
   
 2) There is an age limit for this series of shots, it's 26. So "all" providers can not get and even if I was of age, I would not. It's also now recommended for boys, would you get the series if you were of age?  
   
 3) The US government has paid out over $6M in awards for injury & deaths from the HPV vaccines. Death is listed as an adverse event on the insert you linked.  
   
 3) In looking at the VAERS report for 2016 (reporting through 07/14/2016) and there are 17,286 reports for ALL vaccines, from January 1st. For all HPV brands, there are 2,233 reports for that same period. The government admits that VAERS data represents maybe 10% off all vaccine related events.  4) From the insert: 1.3 Limitations of Use and Effectiveness: GARDASIL 9 has not been demonstrated to provide protection against disease from vaccine HPV types to which a person has previously been exposed through sexual activity. So, considering that most HPV infections are asymptomatic and resolve on their own, and, that most sexually active persons become infected with HPV at least once in their lifetime, they may not be "protected" anyway.  
   
 This is a horrible shot, incredibly damaging to young women and now, young men. Did you even read the vaccine insert?  
   
 To make this "recommendation" without knowing the true risks, is irresponsible and self-serving, obviously. If you are interested in being informed, I am happy to copy and paste all the links and data and research from a post about this on my personal FB a few days ago. Guarantee the vast majority of everyone here, and yes, most doctors & nurses, has never read one piece of it. It would blow your mind. You should always know the risks of what you are doing to your body and asking of others, always.
