I was just in Hollywood around 10PM and took a drive around the usual spots on my way home. NADA! I'm sure it has not completely dried up but the scene usually starts to get good late, after midnight. I have no desire to drive around in my car at 2am these days.

Interesting Read....Sylvia Boots where is she now?

Club 7969...wasn't this the same as Club Peanuts...like on Tuesdays or Thursdays? Just in the 7969 building? Those days have unfortunately become a bit hazy to me. Yukon, I can recall many times ordering the chicken fried steak to go and having them double wrap it and then put it in a paper bag as well to make sure it was still good by the time I got home. The days when I had in my mind that I would never get a DUI.

It is really a shame that things are not like they were. I still don't understand why the street scene died like it did. It was so hot and awesome but some violence was attracted to this as well. I suppose that's why. Yukon was amazing. There is nothing that comes close to that. Cobra is a small version of Peanuts. Very small.

Happy to provide the link. I came across it just searching on her name as I was curious as to where she was currently being held. As for the LA street scene, I agree. Peanuts would rock on Friday nights and after it closed, I bet the Yukon parking lot had over 50+ girls. I would estimate that most from the club came either to pick up, eat, socialize, or just hang out and then there were the non club chicks who would be there every weekend and sometimes weekday nights picking up. The scary part is that LE would drive through all the time. I think there were so many problems at this establishment that they were forced to close by the city. Its now flattened and a construction site if I am not mistaken. Memories

I moved to Chicago just before El Gato Negro closed. I know there have been other threads from a few years back about that place, but it seemed like that was a great spot to meet girls. Nothing like the 50+ quantity you describe, Dog, but an interesting spot.
