with summer coming do clients prefer girls with a natural tan, fake tan, or no tan at all?
I don't think it matters so much to tan or not but the fake tans are definitely out. I have seen some real disasterous results. I love women of color as long as it isn't orange. It matters more that the skin is soft and smells good!
Obviously everyone looks better with a tan. Some people are lighter skinned and some dark skinned. kind of have to bounce how tan you want to be now versus how many wrinkles you want later. All in all I prefer girls with a nice tan but completely over baked is not looking good.

And especially in this business, I think the perception is pale == clean == healthy == more $$. The perception is BS....but it is what it is.

Fake tans look odd. And I prefer no tan lines, personally. Maybe it's the mental image of the lady sunbathing au natural.
But for god's sake, don't over-do it! You don't want to eventually look like what's-her-name in There's Something About Mary.

... seriously, that fake tan stuff turns my stomach. Better to have no tan at all than that.
(Once saw someone who had just applied fake tan on her bod before she saw me... and some of it transferred over to me during our... activities... nice! I never saw her again...)
Wow thats pretty harsh a girl gets all done up to look perfect and tan and takes all that time and you complain about a little fake tan stuff that washes right off. She was obviously trying to make her self look perfect for you.
