Hold up.....You put the number & special instead of just telling the story.

 Didn't notice...looks like a slick advertisement.
Your conspiracy meter is busted, Life... I put the number as a reference & warning to the fellow mongers who might be concerned about the discretionary practices of the lady in question... clearly she has a skewed version of what those practices should be - regardless of the "upside" business she generates by sending unsolicited texts to her database of contact numbers... It's a bullshit practice and anyone considering seeing her should know she does it - burner phone, or otherwise.

Carry on.

F7&king Unreal...

I'm walking into a business meeting yesterday morning & my phone vibrates.. I pull it out and staring me in the face is an Unsolicited Text from 443-813-5574 - Taylor's Touch - offering 'Gentlemen" a discount rate of $80.00/hour...

I was, and am, livid... I have not hobbied in well over 18 months and only saw her once (very average experience..).  What the hell happened to common sense, discretion and rational thinking??

Yeh, yeh.. I know all about the inherent risk of sharing info, the reason(s) we should use burner phones, etc, but the practice of sending out a blast text to former clients is bullshit, plain and simple... You just don't it, Taylor... Just Don't.... moron

Lol, If you sold a person a product/service once it makes sense to reach out again. Maybe your some nerdy engineer, but that was business/entreprenurial people do...and providers fit the mold.

Was this rant worth it?...tell her you are out the game. It would be stupid not to contact you...because I'm sure she got success out of texting be it free w/only a small amount of time wasted. & at least use a burner app so you don't get awkward text on the wrong line next time, lol

Went through the same thing a year or so back - a provider I'd seen started sending random texts within a week or so & I had to straighten her out.

I think emails are fine, but for anything beyond that they should ask first.  Otherwise they're just asking for trouble.

How have you managed to not hobby in 18 months?

I quit this hobby every month but have never lasted  more than 3 months away, let alone 18 months.

I never said it was easy... :-)

Don't want this to happen again with her?

Simple solution.....block her number.....done.

in "our" defense and totally not trying to get anyone riled up...

 but we make mistakes sometimes...
just say "oops! please take me off your mailing list"
or better yet.... say so at first- "please don't contact me unless I contact you first"

i'm sure she didn't mean to ruin your day or breech etiquette... lol

we're not all evil;) hahahahaha
well, maybe we are... but only in a naughty kinda way

You open email from provider friend to find a p*ssy staring you in the face. SO looms up and asks, "What's that?!!" You, composing yourself quickly, ask, "Honey, did I mention my dream of returning to pursue my degree in gynecology?"

You want discretion from someone who offers an $80 per hour special AND you used your personal phone?

I have to ask, "who is the moron that lacks discretion?"
