I remember that place. Didn't it have an upstairs as well that offered even more privacy? That place was crazy, I was there one year for Labor Day weekend and was in that place damn near all night one evening.

New Orleans was a must stop location for the girls. There were several bars in the FQ packed with girls but those days are over. There still is one dive bar, Le Round Up, just off Bourbon where you can find some girls late. I don't recall the street its on, you'll have to look that up but it is only like a 1/2 block from Bourbon Street. For New Orleans you are 10 years too late.

I was in NoLA a couple years back and Le Round Up was dead. There was another bar 1/2 block down the street on the same street as Le Round Up (away from Bourbon, but I can't remember the name) that was way more crowded. But my sense from the bartender at Le Round Up was that most of the girls were pickpocket artists. You'd be better off looking at BP, googling the phone numbers, and seeing which girls have reviews here.

The entire French Quarter is filled with pickpocket artists so stay alert and don't get too drunk if you are making important decisions about your safety in NOLA. I think I know the other place you are talking about deewaits, I've been in there too. Same block but opposite direction from Bourbon St.

I used Google maps to find the spot. It's called Double Play and it's on Dauphene and St Louis. Le Round Up is on St Louis as well but 1/2 block closer to Bourbon. Both places are interesting for the scene, but as I said, I wouldn't treat either as a place to meet a lady

I actually had good luck several times at Le Round Up but times change. I haven't been to NOLA in almost two years and things change.  

As I think about it I did have to fend off a pair that were obviously working together at Le Round Up. One kept asking me, "don't you have to go to an ATM?". After awhile they moved on to another target and I left with another girl that lived in the FQ.  

There used to be a strip club called, I think, Chris Owens, that was fun on Bourbon Street. Had good luck there as well. I'm not sure what happened to NOLA, it used to be a top five city for girls at one time.

I think it's been 3 years since I was there last and Le Round Up was dead almost every night. I remember about 10-15 years back that there was a strip club called Papa Joe's on Bourbon that was all T-girls. I went with some work friends and one guy asked about 30 minutes into the shows: "When do the transsexuals start dancing?" He thought we were watching GG the whole time. There was no back room at that place/VIP lounge area so one just need to turn around to see guys getting blown or giving head to the dancers.

I think that was the place I went to when I was there about ten years ago also.  The TS girls stripping were pretty hot and most were 100 percent passable.  I did not see guys getting BJ's out in the open but I did get a free-b BJ by a pretty hot TS dancer in the broom closet :)

The first time I was in New Orleans it was in a different location than the second time I was there. I think the first space was bigger. The second space was a single floor and fairly tight in terms of space. When I returned about 8-10 years later (post Katrina), it was gone. The word on the Web was the two different spots we've discussed upthread, which is a very different scene than Papa Joes as I've already posted.
