That is interesting, thanks for pointing that out. I check every once in a while to see if she's gotten any recent reviews as I'd been considering making the trip to see her last year. The bad review deterred me somewhat, then when they all dropped off completely, I felt that was rather suspicious. However, she has stayed on BP, so it's not like she went into seclusion and, as was stated, it doesn't seem like there's been any other negative reactions or consequences from the reviewer.

My local fave told me she had asked TER to take down her profile a few years back and they did (can't remember her reason, but it wasn't any kind of controversy like Jackie as far as I know), but then it mysteriously popped back up a few months later. She said that somehow it was done so they could "make more money", but I don't understand how the system works from a provider's standpoint (and there's a bit of a language barrier with her as well), so I don't know if it's to make money off of her or reviewers. Anyway, point being, I'm not sure how much control providers have over it. Jackie may have asked to be taken off of here to be spared the bad review and now her profile has popped back whether she wants it up or not. I don't know if this happens often, it's just a guess, I'm sure Jackie would have a different perspective on the whole situation. It doesn't seem like TER would have initiated taking her profile down just because she got a bad review, since that's kind of the purpose of the reviews, so I always assumed she requested it.
