TER guidelines do not permit me to name her, but the national news reports the suicide of a young transgender person this week. May there come a day when no child is made to feel inherently defective and undeserving of being loved or to love. May there come a day when no adult must hide, or is made to feel they must hide, their sexual orientation or whom they love. May there come a day when a person who is so hurt by this shit that they kill themselves can be named in memory without it being perceived that they have been "outed".

I'm  not sure if you really are not allowed to not post a link to that news article about the TG person who committed suicide.   I myself have never read the guidelines but that seems fine to me.  Regardless, that's really sad her own family did not support her and she took such measures to end her life.

It really is sad. I just googled "transgender suicide" and the story popped up.
The really brutal thing to me is that it was their parents "religious beliefs" that made them so un-accepting of their child's
desire to be the person they were born to be. Talk about sad....:(
 It's like 99% of the "evangelical Christians" never even heard a word He said....:(  
  Just Broken-hearted.
