I've had four serious relationships in my life.  All have been with petite brunettes who were either first-borns or only children and who had weak fathers (i.e, three were alcoholics, the other abandoned the mother).  Go figure....

Ive been sittin' around doing alot of thinking the last week or so. Just kinda taking inventory of life time i guess. Anyway, amoung all the other shit that's sifted thru the grey matter of my mind lately i realized that in my life to date I've known 3 reheads at one time or another and to one extent or another(out of the "hobby") and had contact with 4 more in the "hobby" to some extent. While 3 of the women i know in the hobby i only know from emails, PMs, and phone conversations you can still get a handle on how people are from these things.

In all 7 cases there are some amazing similarities in personality. All of them seem to be:

Highly intelligent
Highly motivated
Highly ingenuitive (sp?) Could do just about anything they wanted to from a business standpoint and make it work.
Outgoing
Fantastic smiles
Gorgeous
Free spirits in every sense of the word
Open and brutally honest

The list could go on, but i think you get my point.

So what's up with that? Is it just me or do others find this same thing? Perhaps it's just the personality type that i'm attracted to so i don't notice the others that may not carry those traits.

Just wonderin'

I have two redhead sisters; my dad, aunt, uncle and one grandmother were also redheads (covering both sides), and I find them all very unique characters.

My grandmother was one of the most beautiful women of all time; and all of them, sisters, too very talented, free spirit people.

I've always enjoyed being a redhead and we are still waiting for that red hair to show up in other generations. None so far, and there are now 23 more children (our children and my sisters' grandchildren). :(

Yet another of my decadent dreams dashed by your untimely departure from this den of iniquity.

That's OK though, i'm used to it. The gorgeous lady that posted right below dashed the first of mine with her departure. How are you V? :-)

Now don't get me wrong, Dark hair is soooooooo nice, and a "gentleman always prefeurs a blond..."  BUT.....

I have known three red heads in my life. All were very attractive woman...and all were very smart.  All had a personality that would just kill ya and all were great fun to be with. I dated one...and fell madly in love with her. I asked her to marry...but only had one little problem. She lied to me when she said that she was not married at the start of our dateing. She wanted to continue to see me on a sexual basis only...and I said no.  A married woman is where I draw a line, and will NOT cross it. This is my way of things only.

She broke my heart bad...and I miss her very much to this day...had more fun with her then almost any other girl I dated....but a lie is a lie and always will be one. Once trust is broken...it can NEVER be returned the same as when it was thrown away........

Yes, a red head is something to admire and treasure. But are not all woman something to admire and treasure all the same...reguardless of the hair color?

To all the ladies out there....You ALL make it nice to be male! What a way to go......

expecially when it comes to men who adore us. I did the blonde thing for awhile and it got me no where. I was a dark brunette and everyone thought I was Goth. So I went back to my Irish roots and it has been good ever since.

P.S. SB, it's always good to see ya *wink*

the most beautiful woman I have ever known is a natural light brunette who looks her best as a blonde.  Exceptions abound in life.

I wonder how much of the "redhead mystique" is biological and how much is sociological.  As we ascribe so much value to the female appearance, it makes sense that a woman with a less common physical attribute that is generally part of a woman's physical allure (her hair) would be valued that much more because of it.  It is possible that special "perception" helps these women feel more comfortable being outspoken and expressive, which would help them "stand out" even more than their mane already does.

I have noticed red heads have more fun. LOL That why i stick with it. But then part of my hair is blue black. So I might not get the full experience of being red headed.

There has always been a mystic about redheads.

They are sassy, saucy, sexy, sensuous, seductive, and just plain wonderful.

A redhead demands your attention, "look at me, I'm special".
A redhead evokes your passion just by looking at her.

I guess you can tell I like redheads.

Just my opinion...
B

both are wonderfully absent of any gag reflex what so ever, and neither every dodged the money shot.

Yep...gotta adore redheads! always have always will.

I use to get teased as a teen ager about my red hair, fair white skin and freckles. Growing up in So Cal. the popular girls were bleached blond with tan skin, so at one point I even bleached my hair and burnt my skin trying to get a tan, wanting to fit in.

Now I have learned to embrace my unique differences and turned them into my attributes. And as for trying to  "fit in and look like everyone else" well that is the last thing I want to do. I love my red hair and freckles, as well as my ethnic origin that gave me this unique coloring.

Not really, but it always amuses me when people accept positive stereotyping but would be screaming bloody murder if it were negative stereotyping.

Stereotyping is either valid or not.

There were three things my brother told me I needed to do in life.

1. Live in New York city long enough that you are no longer soft, but no so long you become hard to the rest of the world.
2. Own a corvette at least once in your life.
3. And most importantly date a redhead.

I have found my self stuck on number three. I wonder why?

"Fish heads, fish heads,
Yummy little fish heads,
fish heads, fish heads,
eat them up...yum."

Way out, mannnnnn...
