the New York Times every couple of years and it's all the same.  Porn is a multi-billion dollar business, legit companies are making money off it and the occasional starlet makes a crossover.  Nothing new.  You'll know a real quantum shift has taken place when mainstream politicians openly accept support from porn stars or their lobby, and when they appear on talk shows because they're popular not because they are the freaks of the day.  Not in our lifetimes--Americans still largely treat sex as an evil, dirty thing (but it's ok to let teen-agers watch people blowing each others' brains out).  Oh well.
