One brief comment on the book club subject line of your post Michelle is that I'm sure I'd enjoy a book club that you organized. I only need to look at the QUALITY of the responses you get to know how valuable you'd be in attracting interesting, thinking, people .

I'll miss your posts if you ever go underground but I have my fingers crossed that that will only happen for good reasons that you welcome.

"He started by calling the Screen Actors Guild and tricking an operator into sharing the name of the guild’s health care insurance provider. Then he called the provider’s toll-free number and pretended to be an administrator at a medical provider looking to verify coverage for billing purposes. Helpful operators spat back Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, and other private information. “All I needed was a name,” he said. Then, he would start his “prowl.”

An interesting article on a book that came out regarding identity theft.

Also Jenna Jameson's book is out, and in this interview this point was raised: "Writer Naomi Wolf recently wrote that basically the porn industry has raised expectations for men in a way that women feel, how can I compete with this? And in fact, she claims it's sort of has deadened the male libido, because you know, they feel like the real thing isn't good enough. Everyone has to be a porn star."

Ms. Jameson may be a great porn star but she doesn't know anything about the male libido!  Speaking for myself (and I bet a few other guys), we know that it's only make-believe, a MOVIE, when we watch porn.  There's nothing like the real thing - the touch, the scent, the warmth of a REAL woman.  She is never perfect but oh so wonderful to be with.  And if she wants sex, that's what really turns the male libido on.  That's why escorts are so exciting to most of us out here.  Although we realize, to a certain extent, they are also fantasies, they nonetheless are THERE, real, and seemingly wanting sex.  No porn movie will ever substitute for the real thing.  Love you girls out there.  Thanks for providing us with your amazing gifts.

If you read the interview, it was Naomi Wolf that had that view about libido and Jenna does not agree.

Fascinating reading all the way around... especially the BLOG.

I was happy to be a very small part of it.(your strange trip)

...and from VR's perspective...

The hours we spent together probably total no more than a day but are truly great memories that will last a lifetime.

Now,that's what I call making the most of one's day!

Cheers Nettie!

I too am happy to have joined you for however small a portion of your journey Netty.

I find the blog sad and depressing.  It sounds like you've traveled back and forth across the country looking for something and never finding it.

I'm surprised there's so little about the men you've seen and what there is sounds so negative.  Maybe it's just phony PR, but what I read from other providers says that lots of men treat them like queens - take them to nice dinners, the theater, buy them gifts and so forth.  And that they have fun together.  Sorry you didn't have any such experiences.  Sorrier if you did, and for some reason didn't see fit to include them.

What is heartening, however, is that you're obviously a bright woman and can go do something else with your life.  I sure would, if I were you and it was this bad.

I can't see how anyone could read this and not find the ramblings of a semi-mad woman. Don't blame the men or your parents for the pitiful life you are describing. I found it and you to be totally pessimistic and sad. Slade's got you fingered. Use your itelligence for something else. The energy is better spent on something worthwhile than complaining about the men and the life YOU chose to lead.

NetMichelle, your calling in life is to tell the tale because you've lived it, babe!  What you said about the first time you did it~it made me think about the first time I did it~but that's just too much intensity to post here!  Email me girl!

I too am sorry (and I base this from what I read) that your experiences have been less than stellar.  But I'm sure you're just categorizing because you're expressing a certain part of your experience.  Or maybe not.  If neither, or one, then my bad.  Anyway, before I embark on new age speak, just email me sometime, would love to further discuss and pick your brains out~no, not to eat~
