P411 is based out of Canada, and operates by making sure that clients are who they say they are. I don't know how it works on the provider side of things. It would be great if they didn't allow for fakes. Gina, who runs the place is cool, and welcomes TS and TG ladies as long as the are upfront about it and include that in their names.
In less than a year, Eros LA (TS) went from about 130+ ads at any given time to 55 as of tonight! Eros NY City went from about 150+ ads to 70 tonight. A year ago, Eros LA (TS) never dropped below 100. Now it never reaches even close to 100 TS ads anymore.
Why is that?
Providers who advertise here are not getting a good return on their investment. Eros charge top dollar for providers to advertise. If the return does not even pay for the advertising bill, then their brand is valued below the actual bill itself. While there are tons of fake ads still on Eros, those too have dwindled. In addition, you do not see very many girls "visiting" and advertising on Eros anymore.
They did it to themselves. They allowed fake pics to dominate and decided to take the money while the getting was good. Unfortunately, this has backfired and their brand is no better than a turd in the punch bowl 
2-3 years ago in Chicago there would be 75 or so ads on Eros. Now, 40 is alot. The fakes are so rampant on Eros now that I don't even check the site anymore. BP has plenty of fakes too, but they're easy to spot if you're vigilant.
On a related note, it seems that the girls who advertise on Eros have upped their average price. It seems funny that girls will advertise for $350 or $400 on Eros the first day they arrive, but by day 2 or 3 they have a BP ad up with a $200 price tag on it. I don't think the lack of providers on Eros is due to the destruction of their brand alone. I think that some have been priced out of the Eros market. The scammers have fueled this quoted price rise on Eros too. Scammers will ask for $4-500 because they figure, if you are stupid enough to get scammed for $300, you're stupid enough to get scammed for $500. I wonder if that's why we've seen the increase in volume of BS ads on Eros?
NO offense to anyone but whoever get's poor service or scum deserve it because no matter what you do and what you're profession. you should always look at the person's as whole not only by looks but the experience of person.
Lailani- Yes, I agree. Some guys are very foolish when it comes to this business. I wouldn't say they deserve it though. No one deserves to be taken advantage of and robbed. Some guys are just inexperienced at this business which is why they fall for it.
Eros is expensive!! Its frustrating on both sides of the ad... But nonetheless it still seems to have the most solid reputation out there. I meet a lot of lovely people through eros, but if they're looking elsewhere too I'd rather spend my advertising dollars more effectively.
Where else are people looking besides back page? Other than the hobbyist boards, everything else seems equally full of fakes from what I've seen.
Personally I've had high hopes for slixa to get off the ground, and they do a good job keeping out the fakes, but not many people seem to know about it so far.
I only look at Backpage now. I do scan Eros and Craigslist on occasion. Craigslist has actually seen a bit of a resurgence lately, especially with new girls. Backpage is still rife with scammers, but if you are vigilant they are easy to spot.
I hadn't heard of slixa until now. I just checked it out and was underwhelmed. Zero TS providers in Chicago. Maybe in time...

Build a couple of saved searches that describe what you're looking for, and then check them every couple of days.
I still look at BP, which is useful mostly for girls visiting my town, but I won't call them if they're not reviewed.
I glance at Eros, but TG girls seem to have given up on that site.
And I even look at Craigslist for the visual stimulation, although I've never called anyone from CL.
But my rule is firm; I won't see anyone that isn't reviewed here, by multiple reviewers, each with multiple credible reviews. Way too many risks otherwise, and plenty of providers available within those rules. Plus it often gives the girls some comfort to know that you're an informed hobbyist.

Yes I agree as well. Eros has really slipped over the years. Even at that its still better than the old days when you had to peruse through magazines like Screw and others, or drive up and down the streets. I have heard from some providers that Eros charges a lot of money. Does anyone know, or can someone post here what rates are? I would love to know. In my opinion there must be some opportunity for an alternative out there that could combine paid adds from providers at reasonable prices, with reviews as well and package it as a TS contact site only with forums and etc geared solely for Trans gender's and those that love and respect them. Years ago there was a pretty cool website ahead of its time named shemaleescortreview.com. Does anyone remember that one? It combined reviews with photos and some adds and a forum. It was free to join which may have been its demise as it relied solely on donations. I would love to see a site catering just for Transsexuals. I am sure there are plenty of girls out there with web experience that could pull it off?
Here in my town, P411 is the way to go as far as posting ads that protect both client and provider making a safe and LE free connection. I recently saw that a TS lady posted an ad there. Good for her. If more TS lady's took for granted the rights they should in the Adult Service Industry and just assumed that they can post ads just as GG's would in any forum available to them, and then threaten discrimination otherwise and see what happens.

Don't forget RS2K for some markets as well. I must say I have really enjoyed the company of gentlemen I have met through both sites. Membership site verification is just one step in a complete verification, as some gents have been found to be sharing memberships and some negative things have happened due to this. I agree with Sancho2 when he says that TS need to take advantage of the same advertising / screening rights as GG providers. When both parties are above board, then both can really have more peace of mind and have their focus on enjoying each other and not on something less than dubious possibly happening.
