Wait, damn hotels.com, they took her money, but the local hotel refused to book because they knew her. Result? Would have paid $200 for her hotel for the next guy. Left, and never looked back.

So about a week ago, she texts and asks if I can come see her today as she needs some help. She is having problems dealing with the front desk of the hotel she is staying at. As I usually do when she needs help, I come to the rescue.
When I arrived, her two male live-in roommates let me in the door as she was in the bathroom. After a while the two of them left. I sat and waited and waited. Finally she comes out surprised to see me sitting there. She explained the situation and I handed her the money up front, trusting her since I have known her for a while. She heads to the front desk and is gone for a while so I text her to see if everything is okay. Her reply indicated it wasn’t going so well.
She comes back to the room and says that the one fee is paid but now she needs money for the day’s rent. Since I had given her all the money I had with me, I had to head to the bank for more.
When I returned, I handed her the additional money and she went to the front desk with it. Her two male live-in roommates came back and we sat and talked for a while.
Eventually she came back and headed straight for the bathroom and shut the door. I am thinking she is getting herself ready. Her two male live-in roommates grab a few of their things and leave. I sit and wait and sit and wait.
After a while, there is a knock at the door. I look out the peep hole and see a woman who does not look like the hotel staff. I go to the bathroom door and knock on it asking her through the door if she is expecting some female company. She answers “sorta” and comes out of the bathroom, opens the door to let the woman in the room and promptly walks out. The woman looks at me in disbelief and asks “Where is she going?” I answered that I did not know. The woman follows her out the door.
The two male live-in roommates come back in and sit down and we talk some more. They asked where she went but again, I do not know. So we sat and talked and we sat and talked. Eventually we all get the idea that she is not coming back anytime soon and it is getting to be dinner time and I am getting hungry so I text her to say I will be leaving and then say “bye”.
Ten minutes later she texts to inform me that that was a three hour appointment that I just had.
WTF??
I was not in the same room with her for even 30 minutes total and not all at the same time. I spent more time with her two male live-in roommates.
What will you do when she does this to you
I guess the problem started when you offered the bailout. Seems like that relationship is burnt for good.
She won't do it to me because I would not cross into the "Forbidden Zone".
The "business" relationship became a codependent one. I would say with all these folks that you really don't know running around, be glad money and some time were the only things you lost.
I'm sorry that this happened to you! I have heard A LOT of similar stories in the past few weeks - the conclusion that I've come to is - there is a bunch of desperation going on right now, as it's summer, & slow.
Question though -
Two roommates?? Why is she the only one paying the rent for a room?? Seems to me if they were actually "roommates" they'd be fucking helping her out - as the situation stands to me, they are exploiting her.

As far as I know, they just hang out and let her pay for the room so they have somewhere to live. If they would be not called "room mates", what else would they be called?
There have been times that I had to wait for these individuals to leave before anything got started, but she counts that time as on the clock and then complains that I overstayed my time.
Damn Studley - sounds like you have been very patient during your relationship with her. I think most gents would have bailed after the first time they encountered the "roommates" & NEVER looked back.
I commend you on obviously having a big heart - that is EXTREMELY rare in this world - I truly hope your experience with this lady as whole doesn't leave you jaded. Trust me, there are ladies out there who wouldn't DREAM of treating anyone this way. EVER.
As for the "roommates" -
These are the type of people we call vultures, users, exploiters, no good pieces of shit - I could go on & on. They depend on her to provide a place for them to live - one which is provided by her selling her body - while they do nothing (which it sounds like they are capable adults). People like this prey on those who are weak & vulnerable. It's quite sad.
There is better out there for you darling!

I don't mind a provider that I have seen a few times call me and ask if I could see them today/tonight, I am sometimes in the mood and everything works out. If the providers starts calling you every week or two looking for help, that is way too much and time to back off for awhile and maybe just see her occasionally on your terms.
Two male roommates, that seems quite odd and it would make me feel way too uncomfortable. Obviously they all are co-dependent on each other in some way, which is probably not good.

There have been numerous times that she has called and ask that I see her and when I meet with her, it turns out that she does not even have a room. Her method for getting a room is very slow and often takes up to four hours. Apparently she remembers all the time I have spent with her for which she received no compensation and decided that this was the time she would get paid. I should not have to pay for time that I have spent helping her to get a room, drive her to the store to go shopping etc.
I do not mind helping her out but what she did this time, I consider a rip-off. Yeah, I think this time it is over. Just wanted to let everyone know so they do not get ripped off like I was.
Do tell us all who she is so us other johns don't get burnt. If you are not willing to out her it is not a "scam warning" it is a sob story.

She then said she actually didn't have the hotel room. I said ok, turned around and dropped her back at the casino. Never looked back.
