An "8" Rating for Performance

Joe, I would have to wholeheartedly agree.  If one looks at the very tough TER rating system, it can readily be seen that an "8" is a VERY GOOD rating score.  I know a lot of guys (perhaps including myself) who (on occasion) can get carried away and rate higher when, perhaps, that might not totally be warranted under TER's rather harsh criteria.  IMHO, a lot of guys don't even pay attention to what TER says the specific rating scores should mean.  Also, if one bothers to read the "fine print", TER can actually ADJUST a review DOWNWARD because (in their judgment) the review is overly generous under these criteria.  Does that actually happen?  ABSOLUTELY!  In fact, in two of my last 4 reviews, TER adjusted my performance score down one point, because they apparently felt that my reviews were giving out too many "10's", and hence that I was getting a bit too "carried away".  A "10" afterall, IS supposed to mean "one in a lifetime".  To me, that means in a SPECIFIC AREA, but to others (possibly including TER) that could mean a particular reviewer can only give that "10" score to only one or two providers EVER.  Just a difference of opinion and interpretation, I guess (but the interpretation that MATTERS is TER's).  Sheesh, one of my "10's", which TER adjusted downward, was on my ATF, "for Pete sakes"!  Anyway, TER is the official "referee" in these matters, and like it or not, their ruling is FINAL, and cannot be appealed (not that I would want to "bog TER down" in such a matter, anyway).
My point to the provider is: the rating score you see very likely MAY be appropriate under TER's criteria.  In addition, the possibility may exist that the guy actually GAVE you a HIGHER rating and TER adjusted it downward.  If my experience be a guide, TER actually DOES what they "threaten" in the "fine print", if they (as the referee) judge it to be appropriate.  In reality, that is probably a GOOD thing, because it helps to keep the ratings STANDARDIZED and truly MEANING something that hopefully can be understood by all.

SHOEMAN- Numerous reviews... not one post on the boards as far as I can find in over a year. Yes, I am a little upset about the review I got. Looking at his other reviews I ought to be happy. The excuse he gives for the rate on performance should not be acceptable for the grounds of getting an 8 for performance. I do know one thing, if this case is true, he knew ahead of time of the great aunt making her debute so he had the chance to wait until next time. I am well know for the honesty when it cums to this sort of thing.

Just curious about him. Or is it just a fake review? Fair in what he says, but I have to disagree with the numer for performance.

Diamond, I read his review, and gee, he seemed to think you were pretty incredible minus the period thing.  While that's a valid complaint, it was a side note and not really relative to your review.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion and I thought his review of your performance would be enough to entice guys (including me) to want to see you.. How he rated your performance was how HE saw it, not how YOU saw it.  Maybe you should offer to pay a guy $300 to fuck him, then you can rate HIS performance..!  I'd be glad to volunteer..:)

Read reviews from our friends at PK and NL if you want to see really scum-sucking reviews..!

Give the guy a break.. Besides, i'd put complaining about a review you disagree with in the same category as women complaining about guys who want to negotiate rates.  You wouldn't like it, would you? TER reviews are all part of the game, so move on and don't let a pretty decent review become a whiny thread in here! I bet the next guy you see will really have you working to get those 10's.. I should book you now, as I bet you'd be a wildcat in bed.  Just my humble opinion..

...and there's not much to be done about that. But I think that this situation would disprove the cliché, "One bad apple spoils the barrel." or, in this case, "one review." Your reputation and growing popularity will not be diminsihed by this one review. Most everyone who uses these boards does their homework and looks not only at multiple reviews to help make their decisions, but they also look at the reviewer. Don't worry and stay safe.

Fret not.  It's one review.  You are awesome by all accounts.  And, as I know, even at 6:30 in the morning after a late arrival into DC.  Be well!

You've got to love a provider who strives for perfectionand takes reviews to heart.
