A Kept Man?

And I have loved it. I was a kept man about 12 years ago. All expenses paid by a woman while I went to grad school - no not a wife. It was fantastic!
However, Id prefer to be a "kept" woman!! *winks* Isnt that called a biz aggrement these days??

Hey, I am a keep man but you know that! Had alot of success in my career but jointly decided to support my wife's career 15 years ago and took most of the burden of caring for our child while starting a freelance business. This is more prevalent today but 15 years ago I was somewhat of a novelty. This meant frequent corporate moves, 7 in 14 years, and lack of understanding from friends and others. Friend's wives hated me ...thought I'd give their husbands ideas. I have some regrets leaving my profession full time because I truly enjoyed it, however her earning potential was alot higher and thus best for our family. After these 14 years she has risen to the top of her industry and I have shrewdly invested her income so we are independently wealthy now. She can shop until she drops and I can hobby. Wife travels extensively for business, the job pressures, etc., have taken their toll on our sex life. So I am anything but a boy toy. Oh, Ms. NetMichelle, see you in NYC after next corporate move this fall. I'll be your boy toy.
Of course it depends upon the conditions. Keep me in a country home or penthouse apartment with staff (cook, cleaning, etc.) and give me credit cards and some spending cash and you have a deal...in my next life though or in ten years, whichever comes first.

If it was you offering Netty I'm afraid I couldn't be "Undersold". However; If the lady was really old & unattractive then my mercenary side would kick in and the price would go up accordingly.
As for "feelings" about being "kept" all I can do is quote 'Cynicalman'...."IAATM"
BTW- Netty; I scrub toilets, do windows, cook, am mechanically inclined and ALWAYS put the "seat" down.

Knee jerk response is to say I would love it. In reality, I would hate it. I'm way to independant and enjoy doing things on the spur of the moment. When I want to take off on a two week skiing trip to my favorite resorts, I'm gone. Book a bareback charter sailing the Virgin Islands, I do it. Of course I have to be able to earn my own funds to afford these things. I could not stand having to ask approval of anyone to do the things I want to do.
Michelle, you could feed me brownies and I would be happy. But only for about two weeks. LOL
I have to have things to do. A purpose in life that is highly driven by success in whatever endeavors I embark on. And it's important they were accomplishments that I achieved and not made by riding the back of someone else.

PRECISELY, what do you mean exactly? What is YOUR criteria for offering any Gent to be yours only?
I have yet to be entirely captured by any particular Lady ,including my most favorites.
IMO, she would have to be BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL.

Having spent 5+ decades on this planet, and for much of that time trying to figure out the opposite sex, the following is my "take":
Most males carry genes programming them to be providers.....and to feel less than successful if they are not. We are no longer judged by how large and how many game we kill to provide food......we are judged by the size of our wallet, house, and bank account. Women are programed to be attractors, which--until modern science got involved--was the only to fulfill their mothering instinct.
While the initial reaction of most males is that it would be fantastic to be kept, I imagine many of us would soon start to question our worth if that lasted for very long. (I can only imagine how deeply affected women are when their physical attractiveness is suddenly changed, such as face disfigurement from a car accident, or losing a breast to cancer.)
We all know "money talks" and with women having the inclination to dominate the verbal talking, if she also dominates the money talking, many guys are likely to feel they are on the "short end".
but with you...
I can see at least one day a week...
