I disagree. The power many of them have is based on what position was given to them.
Compare that to the power of some of the ladies on here, whose power is by nature, and they are toast.
I mean, can you see Condi Rice taking on Net Michelle? She'd have no chance. Besides, that woman seriously needs to start smiling.
All woman wield tremendous power, the ladies on here do what they do I think more by choice than necessity which places them in a category by themselves. They do it with class and grace which is very admirable. Never under estimate a womans strength of will or character let alone bother someone they care about. All this and they always look beautiful and smell good - Life is good!
Think of the power some of these women who entertain us. MA has got more powerful and important than Greta Van Sustrin.

Know, respect and fear the power of one woman
power only in terms of her relationships to men. It's as if she is saying "this is a man's world, but I'm going to use this method to feel powerful in it". Not truly empowering in the most satisfying sense. As NOSC points out with her example of Maggie Thatcher, a woman can feel powerful on her own merits.
