Don't you find this ironic? This is EXACTLY what I complained to you about you doing. Cancel, cancel, cancel. More time than i can count. Doesn't feel so good, does it?

This is an EPIDEMIC in Arizona I RARELY see in other states. I feel that our time is undervalued here...and we are partly to blame for undervaluing our own time!

I came home from Las Vegas yesterday specifically to ensure I kept my appointment with client tonight. The appointment was confirmed via a rather long email interaction March 10th. Correspondence ended with my stating "I have it confirmed on my calendar 7-9pm Friday March 20. I can't wait...I love gifts!" (In response to his stating he had some lovely gifts for me.

His response "excellent my love, we will have a great time. Yay"

Today when I sent a text three hours prior to appointment asking if he could host because my friend needs her incall last minute he responded "Yes Maya. no problem we can use my place if you want."

I said "Maya?" And he said "who is this? Madison? I never heard from you, got something else to do. Sorry"

There are no additional messages from him that I may have overlooked. He is not offering any recification of the situation.

Ladies I will be adding him to verify him promptly.

I hope this is not the norm so please don't judge all of us based on this jerk's disrespect of you and your time.

Calvin...unfortunately it has been far more frequent lately when I work here at home. Thankfully gents are more respectful of my time and expenses when touring. It is just a shame that things like this are sending me traveling more and more often. I miss my four legged children when I am on the road so much!

But...I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt. He won't be getting to see me now though.

I would hope there is a way for you to get the word out on jerks like this. There should be consequences for this poor behavior. I'm sorry to hear that Phoenix is treating you so poorly so you feel you have to travel and be away from home so much. Best of luck to you...

Dave

My ATF at the time admitted to me she double booked and seen the other client from out of town.  She is no longer my ATF and I cancelled 3 sessions I had planned with her.

I don't know about double booking, but I have had providers in the past stand me up. I look forward to seeing someone all week and when I adjust my schedule to make it happen, it always stings when its a no call no show. I know its not exactly the same thing, but I have had my share of getting blown off in this game. It doesnt happen a lot, but it does happen

I understand your frustration. There are times when a one hour appointment will fall within the window of time another client is requesting a 3 or 4 hour redezvous. On these occasions if I ask the shorter appointment to change their appointment time/day I always offer 30 mins of my time gratis as my way of saying thanks for understanding...had your ATF done something like that would that have been enough to soften the blow? Would she have remained your ATF and retained your future business? (I ask because I like to know if my business pratices are being well received or if I need to make adjustments)

Honesty still goes a long way in this world, at least with people of my age range.  Yes, it would have been enough to if it had been in a timely manner and not on short notice.  Also giving the option of more time or a discounted rate.

Buddy with all the negative talk about ur atf why dont u tell them how your atf would drive from phx to prescott and spend the night for a bargain price that your ex-atf is embarrassed to even admit she accepted but she thought u were friends so gave u a huge deal.No other provider in the world would drive there and spend night for such a donation. EVER. When your atf asked you to barrow 350 to get home from vegas she texted u on way by but since u didnt answer till after she passed your exit she went to her other call in phx. And yes she was supposed to come up other times and was going to but had not been feeling like driving up there. Then you posted such bull and said things you know nothing about but just assuptions and verbal vomit that you could have just kept it between u and her you would have had your time. But since you put her on blast you can consider it money for miles on car and gas and for slandering of her name and reputation.

I agree with you Caramel.  But his point is well taken, Maddy moans when she gets stiffed, but  she ignored when situation was reversed.

I did not ignore. He did not make it known when he pre-paid that he would only ever have ONE SINGLE day/time of the week that would work for him. the offer was a very significant discount off my posted rates. It was very generous and he was impossible to schedule and I did offer to repay him once before but he was not forthcoming with a manner in which to repay him. Probably because he knew he had been an offensive jerk and was worried about giving me personal info about himself so I could get him the funds.

He is a jerk...At this point he is intentionally REPEATEDLY bringing up an issue which has been settled to damage my reputation and my business. This hobby is supposed to be a drama free zone for gents to release stress and enjoy in whatever manner they choose the fruits of their labor. Gentleman like Playzwell...dont "PLAY WELL"

Glad I didn't exchange any energy with him in person. I would feel dirty right now if I had.

Who gives a shit....the situation was reversed for the gentleman that had prepaid. YOU stepped up, accepted responsibility & said ok, what can I do to fix this?

Doesn't mean you deserve to run into an ass who double books.

Sending positive vibes your way!

Hugs and kisses,
Alexa.

Thank you so much for standing up for me Caramel.

Brava angel!

Enough with the posts. I am going to ask the individual who returned your money to you to contact TER at this point. We had an aggreement that once you were made whole you would stop with all the negative Nancy crap on the boards!

Way to keep YOUR word!

Madison returning the money did not make you a hero, it just made you not a thief. I agreed to post that you had returned the money if/when you did. I did that. That was all that was agreed. This time I am just pointing out the irony of you complaining of being stood up when you have done the same. Like I asked to you in a text months ago, how would you feel if the roles were reversed? Now you know. Hopefully it doesn't happen again on either side. Not cool to do to clients. Not cool to do to providers.

Stop posting stop being negative , stop doing negative things . After the issue with the money, I think it was a bad call for you to come on the site and post this, it only brings a negative attention back to you.

Maybe the client saw the negative attention and decided to move on? YES he handled it wrong and should have contacted you far before hand.

Often things are to light when they seem negative the hind sight is positive. Take some time and re evaluate your business model and ethics.

Think before you speak, and post. An image can be portrayed many ways but a classic provider always leaves someone guessing.

- I am on no sides.

This is a great hobby and a lot of fun.

So yes it's a business for the providers and hobbyists understand that too.

We just don't want to be reminded of it.

I think both sides should take a cooling off period.

It does not matter who is right or wrong but you guys do sound like a marry couple fighting over a money issue.

Just take some time to make sure you really want to keep playing or working in this hobby.
