Well done Jamie McMurray. It took all day to run the Daytona 500+ at the world center of potholes, but the #1 car crossed the finish line first. More than anything, I am pleased that whiney Kevin Harvick did not win the race... I still wish Ricky Rudd had cleaned Harvick's clock several years ago.
It's on to California...
..for Daytona Beach and NASCAR with the track issue. I can only imagine all the upset folks who set their DVR's and won't have the last 50 laps or so on their recorders.
Impressive the way JR came charging thru the pack on those last two laps, but he couldn't beat his old car and I doubt he went over to congratulate is Step-Mother!
I just find it hard to believe that joint seperation wasn't there before the race started.
