but I also had a very well regarded provider do the same thing to me just about 3 mos ago. Turns out when we were texting each other back and forth the day prior to the appt, I made the innocent comment "What are you planning to do to me?", hoping to receive a dirty response. I received a response but the next day, the provider canceled on me based on her nervousness regarding me trying to entrap her by asking about her planned actions/menu. Is it possible you saidd something that set off alarms for her, even if it was unreasonable or innocent in nature?

In the current law enforcement climate, a lot of the ladies I frequent (on this board and UTR) have mentioned their concerns about meeting someone with they have doubts on based on their talk leading up to the appt. Now this does not excuse the lack of courtesy of returning the call or providing a response to why the appt was cancelled but I think a lot of ladies are being extra cautious due to the holidays, Barrett Jackson, FBR , Pro Bowl and Super Bowl and the unwanted attention and risk these events hold. The lady in my example was good enough to provide her reasoning for canceling and after a few months, I was able to alleviate her fears and finally see her. Hope that you get an explanation and are able to see them.

I gotta say, I have a gift for this.  One I wish I didn't have - having well reviewed providers flake on me.  This time the honors go to Chelsea.  She has plenty of reviews, she told me she was available and gave me an intersection in the vicinity (25 mile drive each way for me), we agreed on a time, with address to come when I got close.

Same script from another bad movie: when I get 5 minutes away I call.  Voice mail.  I text.  No response.  I email using the same chain as our recent exchange.  Three times. I call again.  Radio silence.

I waited a half hour just because of the distance.  Never heard back from her.  I'm guessing she, ahem, took a nap.

Goddammit.

Different girl same thing. E mailed, text and drove there.  Naps are catchy this time of year.

I've noticed that a lot of providers don't see that a gentleman chossing them for an appointment out of the 100's of ladies available as a privilege or take it seriously.  I wish you the best with your next choice!!

Yep, I've had a provider cancel because the dialogue made her uncomfortable, so I have learned to keep everything cordial and schedule based - are you available, what time works for you, i'm heading over now, etc. So good point, but Chelsea doesn't get that excuse.
It's been almost 2 days and I still haven't heard back from her after I left texts, voicemails and email messages.

I'm so sorry this happened to you!

When I was very new to the scene, I did stand up a lot of clients (sad to say) but as a few years have passed, I've taken my work a lot more seriously. It sucks when it happens to us, so we definitely need to understand that it equally sucks for clients, if not sucks more because some clients drive far to see us.

Better luck in your future picks!
