So I've been doing some research on TER related to updating the reviews / review categories and was wondering if maybe I was wasting my time?
If I put in the research and give some suggestions to better enhance review categories, organization, and numerical score accuracy, is that worth doing or will I basically be ignored by TER brass?
I think the review / provider bio pages could be better, but I don't want to waste a ton of time either (although work is slow right now, which is why I'm offering)
...they do read this board and from time to time they have implemented things suggested here. They do sometimes mention ideas being used in upgraded versions of TER.
...well as free time permits, I'm just gonna go for it. Maybe it will help everyone out and I'll post progress as I go in this forum.

As a matter of fact, we have updated the current site with some suggestions from the board and feedbacks, and, without going into specifics, we can say there are more changes in the future.
swimtrekr - we are working on rearranging the current Self-Help Center in the current version
We did last year, add the Self-Help Center under 'My Quick Links' on the 'My TER' tab, so people didn't have to find 'life preserver'. But, that only helps if people go to 'My TER'. So, we are looking at a few other options for the current version.
(Please don't blame Mr.Fisher for all those changes you didn't like
A few I've been thinking about?
1. Separate the Performance score into two categories: Services Offered / Performed score and a subjective Performance score for the individual review. The Review FAQ says to save 8/9/10 scores for services performed above and beyond normal, but just because a provider gave me good DFK, doesn't mean that the session deserves an 8/9/10 score. What if the services offered were good (ie: full GFE, deserving of a high rating) but her attitude was bad (not much conversation, rushed session, etc)? It would be nice to have a differentiation.
2. I've heard different opinions on this, but do the details on the provider pages take into account newer reviews, does the provider fill in the information herself, or is all the information based on old reviews? This question can be applied to contact info, personal details (height, breasts, etc), but also to services performed and rates as well. What if her menu changes or has changed between reviews or over time? How is that reflected on the provider page?
3. And as far as services performed goes, maybe it would be more informational to provide a percentage basis to all services offered? (so say Kissing - with Tongue was offered 9 out of 10 times, it would show 90% based on the reviews submitted).
3b. Or if that's too much work, can it be sorted by review length / cost? I know a lot of providers don't always offer the full menu to shorter visits (30-60 min) vs (2 to 4 hours).
I'll add more if I think of any. And maybe these would take way too much investment as far as cost / programming time to implement. If so, that's understandable, but I guess I desire easier ways to get information than reading every individual review for details (especially when the reviews vary so widely on detail, quality, etc).
Also, I get that there's an ad board, but it'd be really nice if their bio pages could be easily linked to any ads that are posted by the provider (for any reason, but especially for specials or visiting area dates).

the exact scoring system is most definitely a sliding scale and there is a lot of wiggle room to work with there...
I had one client in particular attempt to give me a 10 10.
at that particular time my profile happens to say that I do not offer anal.

I found this whole scenario quite odd because I have gotten a 10/10 from a client on an appointment that was simply a massage with a bbj.
obviously I was a little upset because I did not understand why I could get a 10/10 for just a full body sensual massage with a BBBJ.
but now all of a sudden I was doing a full service GFE and I most certainly went above and beyond and was very personable and I do feel that I was worthy of the tendon performance me and this particular client do the specially hit it off and I do think once in a great while I deserve a 10 but it's only when I have a special connection with someone I don't think I give it time performance to every client I would say I am very deserving of my 88 average.....my average is an eighth in looks and an eight and performance I personally think this is very very awesome and I am very happy and proud of that.
on the rare occasion I have gotten a 10 in performance I do feel that I was deserving of it because it was very special circumstances where I was able to give a much better performance because of the comfortability level....
I am definitely not the best actress and I cannot give a 10 performance to every customer because sometimes it is a little bit awkward and I'm not able to act 110 percent gung ho when I'm not fully comfortable!
and truth be told I am NOT fully comfortable with every single man who walks in the door!
that's not to say that I cannot give him an 8 in performance!
and sometimes it's been even worse but that is few and far between and its when I felt I was either confronted with someone who had very very poor hygiene in which I refuse to do certain services but they may not have understood why so in turn I got a poor performance score nevertheless'
the scoring system is not what it seems and it is not the same rules for everyone
there has been many a time where a woman was denied a certain score for no apparent reason or because she just doesn't offer enough services'
and then on the other hand there are times when a woman is allowed to get a 10/10 to pass through when she didn't even barely perform half of the services but the man for whatever reason felt she was just amazing and wanted to give her that 1010 happened to let it go through that one particular time
you have to sort of look at all of the reviews as a whole and see what the average out to be in sort of just read about how the ladies personality is

so you have to kind of look at it as a whole and look at all of the reviews an average it out and kind of take a look at that persons style.are extremely extremely every single appointment is going to be the same.
and then there are some people who switch up their menu quite often and things are constantly changing with their menu and their style.....the men do take the attitude into consideration when they are scoring although it does say it is simply a score on services offered definitely read the reviews and definitely look at the performance car that matches the review and when they tell about a woman being boring or not being good attitude they definitely give a very low score for that.......
and again that's where you'd have to read the entire review to see that

my service is changed from different times of the year I do not do anal appointments day in and day out around I give myself quite long stretches of a break from the more hardcore sessions.
I will do short periods of time where I will lower the rate and I will be wanting to get a lot of calls then I will raise the rates and stick to doing more massage as my main form of income and very few and far between of the whole enchilada appointments and I will only do them at a very high rate.
for those of us that this is a full time career and it is our sole source of income it would be impossible to date and day out always offer the same services for me I would get worn out which is why I like to have things on a revolving menu and I like to switch things up quite often so I do not get bored.

New York is a huge state with a large population and several distinct regions that are nowhere near each other. When searching for providers, I'd love to be able to search Long Island in 'city' as opposed to NYC, or pehaps some guys want to search Westchester, or Catskills, or Vermont border perhaps. I don't know except that Long Island is bigger and more populated if not as geographically isolated that the entire nation of Ireland and we are stuck as 'New York City', when we are not, in fact in NYC. also, sorting by area code doesn't help because people tour, people have cell phones they bought in other areas, etc...
My suggestion is to expand the list of cities to include regions that may be outside cities.
There is no perfect system and more importantly the data will not be accurate the more specific the selections. Ya gotta do some "hunting" in TER search and your list will never be complete nor accurate. I've used combination of area code and location to find providers in many small city locations.
Here's an idea, since work is slow, start your own review site. Most veteran reviews know to pay more attention. To the actual written part of the reviews and pay scant attention to the numbers and even the profile

Yes, I'm a new user but I do have VIP status. And you're right! This isn't stock market analysis! But you know what it is? It's me 'investing' my hard-earned money in a hobby that is not cheap but yes can be (and is!) fun and exciting. But I also don't have thousands of dollars (or the free time) lying around to sample every provider in my area, so instead I have chosen to strategically find value in the type of women I want to spend time with. (And let's be honest, you say dwell on the experience, but you and I both know a lot of the women are in it for the money/business aspect, so why should it be different from the client side?).
My intention isn't to dehumanize anyone by boiling it all down to hard numbers, I just think the review/provider bio pages can be more accurate compared to the written reviews. This would serve to benefit both parties: for the providers who are great and offer consistently great service, it would only serve to further cement their quality; and for discerning clients like myself, it would make the selection process easier and assure that we're getting the most bang for our buck, so to speak.
IMO, writing reviews are easy and fun and allow for a lot of creativity. You know what isn't easy and fun and creative? Reading time-consuming and monotonous reviews that sound exactly the same all the time. If I wanted to read erotic fanfiction, TER is not the place I would go. Yes, this is about experience, but I don't need to be reading about every other dude's amazing sexual experiences. Unlike some people, I don't get off on third party voyeurism.
Don't get the wrong impression, I think TER is great, otherwise I wouldn't have paid the money for VIP. It does a lot of things very well, but there are also a lot of things it could be doing better. I may be new, and yes I'm still learning a bit, but there is a lot of room for improvement... Have my suggestions been brought up before? Possibly, and if so, I apologize, but be realistic. I'm not going to spend a year of my life reading old forum posts. I was just trying to be helpful.
it is done all the time and not all the women that get 10 10 we're doing everything down the line there is to do.
and likewise someone can attempt to give you a 10 and performance and it can get denied because you are not offering a lot of services it's kind of like a little bit of anarchy its kinda like sometimes this way sometimes that way the basic idea is that people kind of get a jest for what's going on and what services are offered as far as the exact numbers the exact performance is everything being to a tee this website is a little bit of a freethinking type of thing sometimes it this way sometimes it's that way I've learned to just kind of , do exactly what you are doing when you see something that annoys you go ahead and start a thread about it get it off your chest and then you can let it go! 
as thoughts into your head you let them go and everything is fluid like water nothing is permanent everything is constantly changing!!!!
