Come downriver
I am planning a trip to MI and wanted to know if there is a huge difference between Livonia, Troy, Southfield and downtown Detroit as far as hosting incall. Thanks!

I don't think so really. Livonia is more on the west side of Metro Detroit whereas the others are near the east side. It has been my experience that most people live in the Metro area so downtown Detroit isn't quite as desirable in terms of location.
dearborn is good to lansing ann arbor any of the ones you mentioned except detroit not many good locations in detroit where people feel safe
Novi seems to be a popular location to host.
