OK, if you provide the donuts, I will provide the handcuffs.

All of the providers who I see are connected (on the web).  None have been wired during our meeting, yet.  Everyone that I have seen does some form of verification that is from medium to HEAVY.  The two most intensive verifiers had me fill out a long form and both checked the information that I provided.

In the 15 months I've been hobbying on the Internet, the only un-wired (i.e., internet connected) providers I have seen were those at a brothel that I knew of pre-Internet.  Of the ones I've seen from the Internet, I would say about 20 percent locally have not screened or asked for references.  That's right:  you call up, ask if they're available, they say yes and tell you where to show up.   Remarkably, most of them did incall from their homes; those who did not work from home did incall from a dedicated location.  So far as I know, none have gotten caught.  LE seems to focus on agencies working out of hotels.

As you would probably guess, of the ladies who post on the boards, I would say that it is close to 100% screen and check the information that you give them.  These would be your "wired" ladies.

However, I am only guessing, but I would say that it is a small percentage of ladies overall that participate on boards regularly, netowrk with other ladies and screen thorougly.  Even in a tough place like SD, I have still met ladies that still go by gut feel about meeting new clients.  No, I won't tell anybody who those ladies are that I have met like that!

I also travel to places like Houston where activities are pretty much out in the open and they don't even ask you your real name at incall "spas".  

Although the percentage of ladies doing thorough screening is going up, I would guess that less than 10% are diligent in their screening process.  There are many ladies that just don't network with other ladies and keep up with things like those that post here on a regular basis.

Very few ladies ask for references from another provider, and even fewer follow up and actually check; while only a couple have asked to contact me at work as a verification. I had one who wanted two forms of photo ID faxed to her at least a minimum of 24 hours prior to the appointed time(we never met). It seems to me that most ladies, at least those that I know, have just gone on gut instinct and are trusting souls who have not been threatened or hurt by this practice. Usually it is an email, a phone call, and a "come on over".

More often than not, I find that it is requested that I provide two forms of ID upon arrival. Then a couple of recent encounters I spent several minutes convincing her I wasn't LE, just because I do fit the look one might expect, being a younger than average client, in pretty decent shape, and very cleancut to boot.

As for that donut Michelle, I'm feeling kinky: something with sprinkles on it, please.

A few have actually have....

All of my initial contacts have been via email; half of them touring ladies.  Seems like many are hot wired; on 3 ocassions, the computer was used to play mood music.  So far only one declined my request for an appointment (but later changed her mind after checking referrals), so I either check out and/or been very lucky.  Some have called work (direct extension to me) and/or checked on my referrals by contacting other providers. There were a few hang ups on the work extension which leads me to believe that some had actually check the work number...

I musta checked out okay with you or found my email sexy...hehe!  We still have to play with 'Michelle.'  Take care out there!

When a provider ask me for an ID I ask her for one. Cops have fake ID's and undercover cops Id's will show nothing on a PI background check {police data} . Here in PA no one ask for them. The traveling girls do but you can talk your way around that. The girls who are running check are wasting there time and money. Who's files are they checking the police.

Everyone I have seen or had contact with have been wired.
And, yes, several of them have asked for and checked out references I provided.

As has been stated many times before, I am one who doesn't have a problem with references. Who better to find out what kind of a guy you are than an established lady with whom you have enjoyed each others company?

The inferences drawn in the article in this month's Details magazine were very accurate and even though Hollywood post Heidi Fleiss era (I think she at it again) could be anywhere America in essence. The ladies are prettier and more willing to serve the industry which by some accounts is bigger than 9B annually. Ladies, don't need to be wired per se as long as 'someone' is... The curious side of me drove a provider friend to several outcalls one weekend ( I lost a bet) and she depended on using my laptop in the car as she has a generic mail address from one of the free email providers. When you think about it, being wired means that you can access e-mail and a cell phone, no other access or equipment is required. It's exactly why I have seen girls who once worked the streets get cleaned up a bit and now get top dollar when they were giving BBBJ for $ or less in the not so distant past. Get Wired and get paid is the new mantra.

Most are connected. I have found in the past two years that most who are not online turn out to be disappointments or ripoffs.

Most just show up. Seems wierd that some would ask and never check. What a waste of time, for the client: and that nail-biting-phone-ringing-waiting time no less...

I am having a hard time getting a reference from a guy and if I do, I stand a 40% chance of getting the girls to return my phone calls or emails. What's up with that?

I think that being active on TER sometimes gives the people here a distorted few of the hobby. The ladies who are very active here do not necessarily represent the average provider. There are lots of providers in Los Angeles and only a very small percentage of them ever post or actively participate.
