Duke guard,Nolan Smith, claims that todays game against Maryland for the top stop is a surprise to him. "Carolina's normally that top team that we normally play against-----now for it to be Maryland,I can't really explain it." What  is this elitist trash? I hope the Terps kick some Blue-Devil ass today.

I went and did a no-no. 9 1/2 pts. is hard to pass up. A modest wager mind you all. :-)

for years. They've hit a rough patch this season, probably won't make the NCAA's because of graduation, early NBA entries and injuries (See Ed Davis). It's Maryland's turn to step up.

Thanks for the poet comment, Penny-it's a gift-smile-and you know, if the format was as today, the Terps had a legitimate shot at the National Title-then, as I recall, only the conference champion went to the tournament and Maryland, which was awesome that year, didn't even get to go-

This is a hicup year for the Tar Heels.  Carolina will return to power in 2010-2011.
