envelope...seriously?

my lawyer, doctor and accountant love cash...why would I carry an envelope for a provider?  This is a financial transaction why should it be veiled?  I pay my masseuse in cash, my landscaper as well..
regardless of the GFE experience this is about the money...an envelope in the name of discretion seems foolish

Visible cash is a red flag and chills the environment. The envelope signals that this is not your first rodeo, and you have been around the block. First impressions are everything. If you don’t follow protocol, you will be seen as a newbie, and your session will be guarded at best.

I don't know....I have been at it for 30 years..I don't think the envelope indicates newbie or a guarded session

Everyone plays differently. There's no right or wrong way to hobby. I get billed by all the professionals I deal with (lawyer, cpa and MD) so I use an envelope. And my landscaper, you guessed it, another envelope. I leave his cash payment in the irrigation timer box  in an envelope.

I've seen hundreds of ladies in dozens of different cities and never ever used and envelope. I usually put a bottle water over it, if I'm in a hotel and if I insist a ladies incall I just leave it on a dresser.

I've never been refused service and never had it be an issue.

I put down the cash in a very visible spot and in a very graceful way it is gone the second I turn away from it. Envelopes are for rookies.

If you forget the envelope, she is never actually going to care. If you forget the cash though... ;-)

It is nice to have for organizational purposes, sure. And mayyyybe it really does feel "less transactional" to pretend there's a greeting card in there, but really. Priorities lol

To hand someone an envelope in person in a social setting is customarily done to give a greeting card, and/or to give a "gift" of cash at a wedding, birthday, or other such appropriate occasion.

Paying a provider on the other hand is a simple business transaction with a pre-negotiated rate.  Nobody is gifting anything.

The fact that someone would use an envelope to pay a provider doesn't prove to anyone that they meant it as a gift either, because it doesn't even pass the straight face test.

For Christ sake do you want to get laid or are you trying to start a fight!

Usually weed, crack, an 8 ball, some ecstasy, etc....are concealed in some kind of envelope, bag, whatever.

I'd imagine that when you buy a pound of weed the person delivering it just doesn't dump it on the table.

For me personally, if it was a first date, and someone wanted to hand me straight cash, I wouldn't touch it.  I won't touch it until the conclusion of the allotted time and we have parted ways.

The envelope seems like it would be easier to contain a wad of hundies.  Having a wad of bills jammed in your pocket seems risky just for the mere fact that they could slip/fall out.  Lawyers can cost a lot more than pussy.  I know some attorneys who definitely wouldn't want a client counting out $20K in bills while sitting in their office.

The last medical procedure I had to pay for would not accept cash as payment.

Lot's of things are foolish I suppose.  Like an alias for an alias, requests for bare back, or relying on the integrity of another persons supply of condoms.  Seems like there are a lot of ways one can interpret the reason a company runs their business.

I guess all the above have their specific procedures.  If the way they have things set up made me think of them as foolish, I'd probably not do business w/ them.

Putting the gift on the dresser or nightstand makes more sense to me.  I have know a couple of providers that have gotten envelopes only to find them full of clipped newspaper because she didn't look at the contents before the client (repeat) left after the session.  This way the provider doesn't have to worry about being tacky and looking in the envelope or worrying about what is in it.

WTF difference does it make? If the provider indicates that she wants the cash in an envelope discreetly placed somewhere what is the big deal about doing it,unless you are on some kind of an ego-driven power trip.

I personally do not carry envelopes on my person or in my car. I always leave the donation on a dresser or wherever. I do not count it out and hand it hand to hand to anyone. It really is not an issue if you have checked the person out. The envelope would not serve as a means of a defense if you make the mistake of seeing a client that happens to be an uncover LE. Besides, there are no law breakers on TER...

The good ones don't expect payment until after the session. All of my favorite gals never asked or looked for donation the first time I saw them. I was their focus. That is the best LE check ever. If undercover is willing to service me and multiple men before cash in hand then at least I got my moneys worth.
